Craig has always been my favourite consistent cast member of Strictly (presenters, pros, judges) and I’ve always thought he’s been fair and not been pressured to overmark like his fellow judges however it’s really disappointing to see the way he acts towards Anton along with Motsi and Shirley. I’ll be honest, I’ve always been a bit indifferent towards Anton and I do think he’s trying to Len Goodman but everything he’s saying is useful, fair and kind.

Shirley and Motsi have really ruined the show for me. Getting a 10 doesn’t feel special anymore and they’ve really undermine the hard work put in by some celebs and especially the professionals by giving a 7 to a dance that is really no more than a 4.

For me Motsi's 8 for Dan last night was absolutely laughable. A disgrace.

Absolutely it's gone totally downhill since they joined. I was always pretty indifferent to Motsi but the past couple of weeks I've really started to dislike her with her over marking and dismissing every bit of valid criticism Craig and Anton give just because she thought the dance was 'fun' or whatever. I'll still watch but it doesn't feel as joyful anymore when I know I'm going to be annoyed.

Lol, I was definitely seeing it the way you were until after their dance last night, trust me I was hooked haha. Maybe it’s AJ’s brother’s comments that has me thinking otherwise, for now at least, and a part of me thinks this is reaching cringe/uncomfortable territory with the way everyone keeps bringing it up and will only detract from their good partnership now. I would hate for them to be on ITT next week and get asked about it again for instance, its happened for a few weeks now. I’d love for them to end up together as I do think they are cute but just don’t want it to go against them or for them to start changing their interactions with each other. FYI, they are my favourite pairing on strictly in a long time!

Totally agree. I havent seen any reaction to Anton but Ill keep an eye out for it. Shirley and Motsi make a mockery of judging.

I don’t think it will harm their chances if it’s brought up on ITT. However, if the main show continue to bring it up then it could. I would like to think it was just a one off mention because of the closeness of the last two dances, if they come out and dance a CCC or charleston next week I doubt it will be brought up again. Her brothers comments don’t change my opinion, if anything he sounded defensive like he was trying to cover for them 🤣 If it’s janette interviewing them this week i honestly don’t think i will be able to watch because i know she will bring it up 😭🤣
 
It's a shame the Pros have to stay quiet on Sunday to keep up the pretence of the Sunday show being live, I would love to see some interaction between Gio and Kai at home. They are both seasoned Pros, I have no doubt they both realise they have two likely finalist on their hands it would be interesting to see how that dynamic works out at home if they lock their bedroom doors and guard their choreo ideas with their lives. :sneaky:
I suspect come final night if they are both standing on that stage together they will be delighted for one another.
 
I'm trying to think who my ideal panel would be based on previous judges. I didn't particularly like Darcy, Alesha was terrible, Len always blatantly overmarked the sportsmen... I'd probably swap out Motsi for Arlene (she was so long ago I can't remember anything annoying about her). Would I swap out Shirley for Bruno though? I'd be tempted sometimes.

And if it is Rylan, he will probably be the same. I guess it will be down to how they choose to react/respond to the questions they get, but I do hope it isn’t brought up again on the main show as that was just uncomfortable (for me) and took away from the performance.

Id swap Motsi for Arlene and, even though Darcy was annoying, she was better than Shirley. Id keep Anton and ditch Bruno completely. Both Shirley and Motsi judge competition though properly, so I don't know if they are just crap judges or go nuts on Strictly. Tess also needs to go. What she to Craig last week was out of order.
 
The S*n have a crappy story this am that Adam and Katya were 'caught sharing an intimate late-night clinch', accompanied by a pic of them hugging goodbye in the car park after leaving rehearsals. Looks totally innocent. Desperados, and gross that presumably a pap was lurking in the car park hoping to catch them up to something.

I have memories of Arlene perving on the men occasionally but nothing as cringe as Shirly.
If I could have anyone it would be Lorraine Barry from DWTS Ireland she always gave fair constructive advice, but still get caught up in the emotion of the dance.

Along with AJs brothers (she seems close with this particular brother) comment I wouldn't be surprised if Kai addresses it publicly at some point, he's no pushover and I can't see him being happy with the romance rumours over shadowing their dancing.

yep he’s been world champion and had a few years on the Irish version, I don’t think he’s impressed that his skills and choreography are taking second place.
Still can’t handle his two tone teeth mind.

I don’t get that impression at all. The judges have commented on his choreography multiple times and he always looks made up with the comments etc.
