I totally agree with AJ's brother. After all that went on last night - AJ saying she really liked Kai, her nephew saying to kiss, Claudia going on about kissing - I went away thinking they've all but confirmed they are together otherwise why would they be encouraging all that? It's easy to come out and say "No, we are dance partners only". It did distract from her dance score. Now her brother has said they're not together. Maybe they don't care, maybe they are together, maybe they aren't, maybe they are trying to drum up a mystery around it (which they don't need to as their natural chemistry does that for them)...I would love if they were together but actually feel for them as I think people will be watching their interactions more than ever after last night.

I think her brother was pointing out they want to be scored on dancing not potentially a relationship. All the teasing makes me think they are a thing, but want to keep it off the show but pesky other people know and want to make fun.
 
I've just watched the two of them again and I know what it is now that annoys me..... She talks really loud..... We know that..... But..... She does all the talking, Kai doesn't get a word in, she shouts over him and doesn't let him speak.... there..... That's my take on it. Of course it could just be he's a more reserved kind of chap but she needs to learn to speak not shout and let someone else have a turn!

He has had more than enough opportunities to talk, some people just prefer to let the celeb shine which he does. They actually have very good banter together if you see their insta stories and he’s not as quiet/reserved as some people think he is.

I do definitely agree that the all female pairing with Nicola/Katya was meant to be the warm up for an all male pairing this year.

I have thoughts on Anton. I used to think he was really creepy, how he always turned up for things like rehearsals in a suit and when he did a Latin dance it was all wrong. Then he quashed the doubts about his sexuality/lack of by marrying and having children, then he became the warm friendly family man. Now he is head and shoulders above the best judge and I don’t care what he’s like behind the scenes or as a partner - he’s doing a great job with praise where it’s due and proper, useful criticism. He appears to have real empathy and the other judges are clearly just jealous. If he’s a tit behind the scenes, it’s their job to be professional on screen and if they can’t be respectful of each other, they can go in the bin
 
Watching last night back Kai clearly wasn't prepared for Claudia's kiss comment it seemed to startle him in hindsight he didn't seem happy at all with it. Along with AJs brothers (she seems close with this particular brother) comment I wouldn't be surprised if Kai addresses it publicly at some point, he's no pushover and I can't see him being happy with the romance rumours over shadowing their dancing.

I kind of agree. It's amazing that she can dance so brilliantly despite not hearing the music. It's all the fawning thst annoys me, it's quite patronising I think. I prefer the underdog contestants like Tilly too.

I do think Rose and Debbie are probably his best partners though, for both likeability and dance ability.
