If DOI stays, I give it 2 years before one is on as a contestant. I'd say AJ, he seems more up for a challenge than Curtis who is pretty much exclusively trash TV.

I never watched the greatest dancer but didn’t Curtis have a role in that show? I couldn’t tell you what but I agree that I’m hoping the aren’t on this masked dancer.

I could definitely see them on DOI 😂 I don’t know how long the show will go on for though after this years shambles.

How come GMB hosts like Charlotte and Ranvir are allowed to be on Strictly alongside their ITV jobs yet the Corrie stars aren't? Is it a specific programme thing rather than ITV as a whole? Ruth was still on This Morning and Loose Women when she was a contestant I think?

It’s maybe because they film long days on Corrie and if they allowed them time off it would interfere with storylines? Mind you, I don’t watch Dancing on Ice but if they let current stars on that then it can only be because it’s a rival channel
 
All the Eastenders actors have a really tough schedule because the BBC expect them to do both programmes. Every one of them has has the ‘doing 20 hour days and 2 jobs edit’. But they do let them do it. I don’t know if Corrie would let them potentially be working 2 jobs for three months - but loads of them do panto don’t they do 🤷‍♀️

Do the Enmerdale and Corrie stars get time off to do DOI?
 
Just out of interest, does anyone know if Amy Dowden and her fiancé have called it quits? I know Instagram isn’t the be all or end all but he seems to have vanished into thin air - she used to feature him quite a bit from what I recall. All very odd, weren’t they were due to get married last year until covid happened? He just seems to have completely disappeared!
 
I've been wondering the same as he's no where and she's stopped mentioning the wedding. I know its probably classic tattle gossip but she was weirdly close to her partner last year although that's probably also probably due to the fact she'd kick a puppy if it meant winning strictly. I still flinch when I hear her name as my ear drums have only just recovered

You can still see her engagement ring in recent pictures; I think they're still together; if you look back on her instagram she never really posted much of him anyway.
