I think its just Amy desperately trying to cling on and stay relevant with the bbc tv star. I don't remember her though being this close with Karim or him posting much about her after the series? I'm already dreading who she'll get next season. I reckon she feels emboldened now so will only become more driven. She's going to make Kevin look like he was just in the show for the ride
 
regarding bill, he has had dance experience, he talked about how he would have ballroom lessons as a teenager, so he knew how to waltz, foxtrot, quickstep etc, and he’s a musician so he has a massive advantage.

i want maisie to win, even though she has some stage school experience, she seems to work so hard, like she has a notebook that she writes everything gorka tells her so she can study it, plus i really want her to do it for the girls who have had a really rough time this series with so many double standards

I agree - why shouldn't a young girl be confident? I think it's great for young girls watching. I also agree about Bill. I think because he looks so old and the fact that he's a comedian, people assumed he would be shocking but the concept of a 55 year old bloke who has had a bit of training before and, as you say, is musical and is used to being on stage is not really that surprising.

I think being a musician gives him a slight edge but I don’t think ballroom dancing lessons 40 years ago puts him at a massive advantage. HRVY and Maisie are both young and have had recent (and probably more intense) experience so it’s more that Jamie is at a real disadvantage imo

The insider stressed he only had two lessons and that it was 40 years ago.

He was signed on in 2010 and dropped out at the eleventh hour. I don't think he's really in demand now (pops up every so often on ITV or TalkRadio and that's it) so I'm sure he has the time to be on Strictly. I'd be very interested to see what dance ability he has.

I imagine he would be a dad dancer of the first order. He’s not relaxed doing his primary job, I can’t imagine him being able to lose himself in the music.
