Silent reader but I had to post today because this episode had me howling. The entire season is like a fan fiction!!

Firstly, Che storyline is so boring. Why does Carrie insist on being a tit friend and inviting Che to her last supper? I get Steve as she’s known him years and he’s Brady’s dad but even after the stand up comedy routine, if that was my friend I’d be raging.
I used to love Aidan but his character gives me the heebie jeebies. Carrie has more chemistry with Wyatt than Aidan.
Speaking of Wyatt, what an annoying brat. Why was Aidan acting like he had died? He broke his leg and drunk drove he’s not on life support. The crying “I should’ve been there” was so tit that it actually made me laugh more than anything.
LTW is the worst actress I’ve ever seen, every emotion is the same. The fact she had a miscarriage and didn’t even look like she’d been in pain or anything. What a bleeping stupid way to announce to your husband that you just lost your baby “I think it’s too late for that?” Lol where’s the sensitivity. Her whole role is pointless the same as Nya’s.
What was the point in Sam Smith’s appearance? The only scene I did like was the scene about Stanford, yes the storyline is weird and a bit out there but you could really see how painful it was for the actors. It felt almost… genuine. For SJP she finally showed some really emotion. Shame it wasn’t through acting. A small part of me wishes that Miranda and Shteve could be back together but we all know they’re setting it up for her to be with her new English professor (or back with Che). What’s the chances they’ll get caught finger banging in Carrie’s closet at the last supper?
Part of me wants them to sign up for another 5 season deal because even though it’s a tit show boy is it entertaining to laugh and cringe each week.
What are people’s predictions for next week? I think Carrie will move into the new apartment but I think she and Aidan will break up and she’ll end the episode with some corny line of like “And Just Like That… I put the past behind me” and cue a montage of her standing in her new apartment “You Got The Love” on in the background whilst she opens the curtains to a view of NYC and the camera pans to her neighbour in her old apartment wearing Carrie’s blue Monolo Blonicks.

I have to say that as much as Miranda has got on my tits lately, she was clearly visibly upset and uncomfortable when she left mexican-Irish-dickheads show. I found it totally disrespectful that as a supposedly loyal friend, Carrie would not go after her to make sure she was okay.

Say what you want about Miranda but throughout the SATC franchise she was always such a good friend to everyone in the group, particularly Carrie.

Who remembers when Miranda followed Charlotte all the way home when Charlotte got bad news regarding her fertility? That's a true friend.

All the ladies were successful and rich in SATC and even the first series of AJLT but there’s something about this series that really grinds my gears about how they worship the dollar so much. In SATC they seemed far more REAL and you were rooting for them all the way. I’m not sure if Carries narc behaviour is amplified this time round or what but it leaves a dreadful taste in my mouth.

And just like that... I couldn't help but wonder, why didn't Carrie say she would get the photo of Stanford copied for Anthony?

Stanford was generally a good friend to her, but I don't recall her doing anything particularly worthwhile for him- I watched a bit of the Nina Katz SATC episode when all Carrie did was whinge about her giving her "the face" and when Stanford asked what she thought of Marcus, the guy he liked, all Carrie could say was "he's nice"- at least Stanford pulled her on it 😠

His acting was absolutely atrocious but I DID feel for Aidan there. As a separated parent, it's gutwrenching to be away from your kid when they need you - the guilt is phenomenal.

I don't really think it's fair to blame Wyatt for acting out as he's only 14, but I hope if they're sticking with Aidan and Carrie endgame that he will make his dear stepmum's life hell.

they’ll defo duck up the storyline, but I think it would be interesting to see Carrie in the role as a stepmother! apart from interactions with lily and Brady, it’s not really something the show has explored for Carrie, being around children in the context of a stepmother/boyfriend with kids. oh I forgot the Russians daughter lol, but does anyone get what I’m trying to say? 😅 we’ve seen her do relationships, marriage, widowhood, I think it’s an interesting angle that I’d like to see Carrie play out

I reckon the show would have them at total odds until it emerges that Wyatt is secretly into fashion. Carrie catches him reading Vogue one day and eyeing up her silk scarves, so she takes him shopping and suddenly they're fabulous friends. Instead of passing the baton, she passes the pigeon purse (you just know that ugly fucker is going to show up again)

Yeah, like just have it copied, I know it's not a digital photo but we do still have the technology!

I love that scene, one of the most moving scenes in the whole original series, IMO. And yeah, Carrie was a bleep for not walking out with Miranda. I would be disinviting Che from the last supper so fast, I'd have whiplash. Miranda should have told Carrie to stick her invite up her hoop.

Am I the only person who thought Miranda got some karma/just desserts from Che’s comedy set? Or am I just mean 🤣

also….did anyone notice the way Carrie said to Aidan about Wyatt ‘I thought it was Cathy’s week?’ Woahhhhh passive aggressive much????

Nah, I totally thought she needed to hear some of those things. Che was a cow (soz, they don't have NB animals) to bring it up and they weren't very funny, but there was undeniably a bit of home truth there about Miranda.

Just watched it. Honestly it feels like this show is gasping its last.

Sorry but I'm sick of it worshipping at the altar of all the "queer" and non binary stuff, I feel like I should be apologising for being a straight woman.
If it makes you feel any better, I'm a lesbian (the old-fashioned kind with no penis 😜) and I'm utterly exhausted by it all too. I had to stop watching AJLT halfway through the first season because it was so cringy and desperate that I just couldn't cope! But I still follow the threads for the snark. 😊

My god what a terrible Ep.

Che watching themselves in old shows and laughing was the cringiest thing ever. And later proved that once again they are the WORST and the least funniest person around. Basically Che thinks it’s fine to be a dick as long as it means they’re being true to themselves 🙄🙄🙄🙄

How is Kristen Davis SUCH a bad actress now, it’s actually ridiculous. She could actually act back in the day now it’s like GCSE drama. Bizarre.

Don’t care about LTW or Nya.

Don’t care for the whole cis, non binary, trans, vegan whatever woke bs they’re trying to shovel down my mouth. The old show was unashamedly for women about women. Why couldn’t it stay true to itself?

Aiden and Carrie have zero chemistry. And Carrie was a witch for inviting Che to her supper thing after the comedy bs. Once again cementing herself as the worst friend ever.

Aiden’s crying gave me the ickiest of icks.

Also these episodes are tooooo long.
