while i completely hear what youā€™re saying, it is possible for someone to live their ā€œwholeā€ life straight and then have an interaction or connection with someone that changes things. i donā€™t disagree that cynthia has basically written herself into the series but i wouldnā€™t use ā€œmiranda wasnā€™t gay in the original seriesā€ as evidence that she cannot be in a gay relationship now.

Lots of people realise that meat is not sustainable and go for meat free options. It is 2023 and we are in a climate emergency. Don't see any issue with her trying a plant based option for one meal!

Absolutely. In my early 20ā€™s I was actively pursued and drunkenly kissed by a lesbian. I was horrified and found her really predatory. I thought I was straight but then in my late 30ā€™s fell for a woman and havenā€™t been with a man since. I think sexuality is fluid and that you should never say never as you donā€™t know who you might feel a connection with.

Having a personality transplant and becoming a whiny simp who gives up their whole life for an unfunny narcissist is another matter.
 
Iā€™ve only just caught up with episodes like 6-9 but
a.) Aidan grosses me out šŸ¤¢ poor Cathy ending up with that! I agree with others here that she may be hiding something like a terminal illness leaving Aidan and Carrie to bring up the boys
b.) I didnā€™t see any looks between Aidan and Seema at that meal
c.) I didnā€™t realise Steve apologised quite so quickly to Miranda after their argument, and what was that pathetic sob miranda did?? girl duck outta here
d.) all the kids are spoilt little shits. A suite at the mandarin oriental for like a 16 year old?? Wtf
