I feel like the only one who actually likes the first film I mean, it is rubbish, but I do like it . The second film I found so bad, I watched it at the cinema and refused to watch it again

You’re not alone! I have a track record for loving bad films though. I loved Glitter (hoping anyone else has seen it )

Finally watched last episode. Everything I think has already been said. Really let down by the Sam cam and was that really the best Pat Field could come up with?

Well it was another tit episode but how come nobody has mentioned the three quarter length leggins under the dress Carrie wore for the last supper! Did she find the dress in the back of the wardrobe with the 80’s bras???

That dress looked so itchy and uncomfortable- I kept thinking if it were me I’d have had my PJ’s on even before the last guest had left!

I can watch SATC over and over again (still have all DVD’s somewhere). I can watch the first film again and again too. I will NEVER watch the second film or AJLT again!

The first film wasn't great but at least it was vaguely entertaining, the scenes in whichever muddle Eastern country they were in were just beyond awful

The awful second film is what made me too scared to watch a minute of AJLT. I can’t have any more memories of SATC tainted or I won’t be able to watch it anymore (so I just lurk on here to find out the AJLT situation from you brave people!)

I like both! I’ve seen way worse films tbh (caveat both are rather ignorant at times)

I think I actually prefer ajlt (as a hate watch) to the second film

I actually love the second film for a guilty pleasure trash watch. It’s awful and was terrible shock when I first saw it but now its OK. There's no expectations and to me it is an entity separate from satc

Carrie is such an ungrateful witch in the first film! Her friends literally drop everything and fly to Mexico with her, buy back her old apartment etc and she just makes crappy comments at them with no gratitude whatsoever! Miranda has been cheated on too, but gets duck all sympathy from Carrie! She’s so self entitled!

The fact that Miranda’s marriage has literally fallen apart and none of her friends seem to care, has always driven me mad as well!!

The fact that Miranda’s marriage has literally fallen apart and none of her friends seem to care, has always driven me mad as well!!

Miranda has such a stiff upper lip though when they try talking to her about it in the cafe she’s so matter of fact about it all, I don’t really know what else they could do
