I actually love the second film for a guilty pleasure trash watch. It’s awful and was terrible shock when I first saw it but now its OK. There's no expectations and to me it is an entity separate from satc

My deep dark shame is that I don’t mind the second movie either and honestly don’t see the huge difference between it and the first movie or the latter seasons of SATC. Their extreme wealth was well established long before the second movie, Carrie being the worst too. The lack of cultural sensitivity in the second movie is actually perfectly in keeping with the entire series too I don’t get why it’s so hated compared to the first movie, they seem very similar to me!
