Me too! She’s absolutely insufferable in parts of it! Demanding her friends close the blinds with no please or thanks, “I’ll tell them someone died”……”didn’t they?” And blaming Miranda for Big jilting her.

I do like her hair dark though, I feel like it softens and warms her face. And of course Sam is everything!

It was Miranda’s payback for Carrie sending Aiden to her aid (instead of going to help her friend) when she was lying naked on her bathroom floor 🤣

That and dumping her for veal and Big when they had plans and having to listen to Carrie whine non stop when they split up the first two times!
 
Finally getting to catch up on episodes so sorry this is very old. But wtf is up with kristin’s Charlotte screaming like a banshee in the snow about condoms. So OTT and horrible. Also total bullshit that all the CVS/Duane Reade’s are shut on Manhattan especially when Charlotte has supposedly walked from the UES down to the village to be near Carrie’s 😂
 
I can't remember if I've seen the first film or not - I think I've seen bits but didn't know Jennifer Hudson was in it. I know I hated Carrie's wedding dress with the stupid bird on her head.

As it is, I don't know if it's just me but I always internally cheer when Carrie ends up single again. Not just because she's awful, but because the premise just never works as well when she's in a relationship. IMO she isn't supposed to settle down and I can't speak for all audiences but I suspect I'm not the only one who gets bored when she is with someone.

I think Candace Bushnell even asked the writers to have Carrie single at the end of the series.

It was so condescending too, "here you go poor person, no more rental bag for you" only to be handed the ugliest bag ever made that has a probable resale value of a curly wurly. I would rather be gifted a Tesco bag for life, at least you could get some use out of that.

I agree, the amount of consumerism is just awful. Like the highlight of her life was some chappy bag

Carrie is such an ungrateful witch in the first film! Her friends literally drop everything and fly to Mexico with her, buy back her old apartment etc and she just makes crappy comments at them with no gratitude whatsoever! Miranda has been cheated on too, but gets duck all sympathy from Carrie! She’s so self entitled!
