I can almost imagine the scene already, it'll be a silhouette of a woman, we follow her on screen for a minute trying to figure out who this glamonatrix is, a hand appears holding a phone, we get something mysterious said like "honey, I'll be right there", camera pans to show Samantha and SCENE

😂
Season 3 opens with the aftermath of the party that has apparently ended in a physical fight. smashed plates everywhere and Carrie visibly shocked and dishevelled "well that escalated quickly" and then it is just never mentioned again 🤣

Really hated that scene where Miranda's boss came back from maternity after five weeks. And Miranda was all "my 12 weeks leave felt like a hundred years." Like maternity leave is some enforced punishment not a health necessity 🙄😤
Thank you! Totally agree. I took a year to return to work following my only child's birth.

Just watching old SATC. I’m on season 2 ep 1 where it’s Carrie birthday and they are in the Moroccan restaurant. Miranda is discussing her recent dirty talk and Stanford says “I personally don’t like anything in my ass”
So Stanford nor Anthony enjoyed it? The writers need to remember the old episodes when writing new ones!!
Good spot! Yep, there's naff all continuity with the parent series.

I’m so done with this show episode 10 here we go

- The return of Shteeeeeeve! 😍
- I left the room for two mins to dish up my pasta, came back and Sam Smith was on the tv. Nearly turned right back around again
- LTW crying over sacrificing her career for pregnancy was interesting and a story I feel like we rarely see on tv! Am I about to start caring about this character at the very end of the season? (Probably not)
- Carrie is incredibly nonchalant about potentially never seeing Stanford, one of her best friends, ever again. Is she just too selfish to care??
- The mention of Skipper absolutely wrong-footed me and made me reminisce for the good old days of SATC season 2 🥺 Also isn’t he the CEO of Wetransfer now? IYKYK
- Che is and always was a bleeping hole. Miranda has been a dick this season but she didn’t deserve to be publicly humiliated.
- I do not care about Aiden’s children, and Aiden‘s fake crying in the car was bleeping funny, not sad. He looked like he was in pain trying to squeeze those tears out. Terrible acting.

That was bleeping boring as tit. 3/10.

I can’t believe 16 people have liked this, not real fans 😂 Stanford and Anthony were never together in the series, they hated each other. We never saw them even going out but they randomly got married in the second MOVIE. Your point still stands though as the movie was even more recent! 🍑

Ditto arrested development
---
Also the constant reminders of the woman who bought Carrie'' flat. They may well have just said "we are rich thank us for helping you"

SC and Arrested are two of the best recent comedies - if you like AD listen to the podcast Smartless. It's just Will Arnett & Jason Bateman being GOB and Michael in real life (with Sean Hayes too)

You've inspired me to watch AD again after I've rewatched Succession for the 8 millionth time 😂
