I think perhaps part of Anthony's bum reservations depend on history. Anthony would have been a young man during the AIDS crisis when it was thought that receiving anal was how you got it. Mind you, whatever his reservations, I don't think it's fair or right for the poet (wtf is his name?) to dismiss his boundaries. Some men genuinely don't want to receive or give, just as some women genuinely don't want to give or receive and that should be fine. Whatever your sexual boundaries, if your partner wants to break them then that sir/ma'am/tha'am is a red flag.

Charlotte’s kids are written so badly. Charlotte has been a stay at home mother their entire lives to this point but I refuse to believe she has raised them to be such brats. Yes, they are privileged but before Trey, Charlotte had forged herself a successful career. Charlotte was, and still is a strong women with principles and values. They are teenagers but I can’t believe Charlotte and Harry have not instilled ANYTHING decent in their kids.

(I know this isn’t real. I keep reminding myself 🤣)

AJLT writers have too many characters and zero character development which has led to viewers giving no f**ks about any of them. This show is literally surviving on nostalgia - and they are decimating that for fans 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'd say if anything the original creators are making a tit load of money on royalties as we all go back to watching the original series to remind ourselves why we loved it so much. I hope Kim is getting her share!

Could this have been their plan? Make a fortune from a flop? Just like SJP's husband did in "The Producers" OMG 🫣🫣🫣

I didn’t think of it like that. Interesting points. I just thought Anthony was being dismissive of his partner’s feelings. I also thought it was strange that someone who engages in the giving of anal sex (not sure how else to phrase) would be completely against receiving but yes I completely agree, no matter what kind of sexual activity it is, your boundary is your boundary.

Maybe no one else cares but I don’t get why Aiden hasn’t been given more a backstory (unless I’ve missed it).

Why did he and Cathy break up? Why did he move to Virginia? Why are his other two sons barely mentioned?

I also don’t think she even loved Aiden in the series. She just got annoyed at everything he did and treated him like tit constantly. She was his Big.

Aiden is an absolute sap, imagine if your partner cheats on you, you break up, then get back together. Then they invite the person they cheated with to your couples weekend away in a cabin you built - and he still stayed with her.

Really hated that scene where Miranda's boss came back from maternity after five weeks. And Miranda was all "my 12 weeks leave felt like a hundred years." Like maternity leave is some enforced punishment not a health necessity 🙄😤

Especially since mat leave in the US is an absolute joke and people are out there campaigning to get more than 4 weeks. Of course it's a woman's choice when to go back but it seemed callous to portray two women who desperately wanted to go back to work when it's such a hot political issue.
