Yeah, I can’t stand her either. She comes across as really smug and if she hadn’t married Chris O’ Dowd (who also comes across as a twit in interviews ), she’d have faded into obscurity by now.

Also, why is Carrie smoking frowned upon but other characters smoking weed isn’t?
 
The whole thing is an exercise in the humiliation of these once great female characters by a group of woke writers steeped in critical race theory and a victim/oppressor worldview, presumably with the total buy-in of all the actors. The characters are intentionally being made to look and behave like out-of-touch idiots as a way of atoning for their past and for the original sin of being white and privileged. I can’t see how anyone who was a fan of the original series and characters can see this series as anything other than completely vile.

It is Rose – I read somewhere that she will also be cutting her hair, so it looks like they are going ahead with her being non-binary/trans.

After four episodes, I'm out. I'm not going to watch a show that promotes the transing of young girls, when that is doing so much real-life damage to many.

I will just have to enjoy the old episodes in all their unwoke glory and pretend everything after the first movie didn't happen!
 
It definitely doesn’t have the fun, light feel that the series had. It’s very heavy - it’s all very serious and somber. Why is Miranda constantly frowning and acting like she’s in the worst mood ever? The series had a nice mix of light hearted silly fluff/make believe nonsense paired with moments of more serious stuff but this is now just a bit of a drag to watch; Charlotte running around trying to find “black people” to invite to dinner was so ridiculous and vulgar - it wasn’t witty or interesting it was just for curling. Writing the character of Stanford out of it with some off the wall bizzare storyline of him disappearing to Japan without saying goodbye and then randomly asking Anthony for a divorce?!! The girl from the podcast office just HAD to be wheelchair bound didn’t she?!!!
 
I also feel that there’s way too many characters now - we need to focus on the 3 main women and their families. I don’t care about some random estate agent or some random professor from the university , I’d rather they focus on what the duck is going on with Steve & Miranda? Or why does Harry need a colonoscopy? We’ve hardly seen anything of New York so far - the city itself was a huge festure of the series and they have skimmed over all the details regarding things like where they are working etc
I think it was a mistake not to have Carrie narrating the episodes and that we haven’t seen her writing anything.

The essence of the characters has been completely lost.
 
I don’t like the professor, she’s dull as duck. I’m confused at how she is supposed to be too? I was also confused as why Miranda is desperately licking her ass so badly? Cringe.
Also why does Miranda let Brady’s girlfriend speak to her like tit? That jumped up goady little bleep would be told to put some clothes on and duck off out of my house, pronto.

Yes I can’t help the Miranda from the tv show would never have let this happen in a million years!!
