Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively

I actually can’t believe there isn’t more uproar about the lack of sensitivity from Blake re the movie. Mind blowing
I saw a few posts on Instagram regarding this yesterday, painting Justin Baldoni in a somewhat negative light, and from the comments people were leaving, any negative comments towards Blake/positive comments towards Justin are being deleted. The PR machine is in overdrive!

‘Livelaughlove preening’ 🤣🤣

Blake is a terrible actress. She acts the same in every film/show she is in. The same facial expressions, the same voice etc. It is like she struggles to play a character so just plays as herself

I cannot stand the forced humour between Blake and Ryan where they pretend they don’t know each other. Like when Blake calls him Ryan Gosling and Ryan pronounces her name as Blake Liverly. It was funny the first time but not anymore 😭

I just don't get why she didn't just do a rom-com if she wanted to create a whole Barbie-esq moment.
I saw an interview of hers where she was talking about how she had to fight to have Lana del rays song in a scene. I think she thought she was coming off as relatable but it just made me see her as insufferable.

I've always hated the 'banter' between her and Ryan on social media its always come across as fake to me.

I also think she is a bit too old to playing Britney in a biopic of her life unless she is playing Britney at the age she is now

I was always a fan of gossip girl, and I like deadpool but that’s about it relating to this pair. I will admit I fell for Blake’s ‘girls girl’ persona until recently, there was something about her being at the superbowl with Taylor that gave me the ick and I really don’t know why!

She always comes across as dead sweet but in reality to have clout in Hollywood I think you’ve got to have an arrogant and egotistical streak, and this is starting to show a bit through these press junkets.

Ryan is a bit meh really, I do find he interviews well and is funny, but it can be very samey.

Yeah the trailer doesn't give it away that it was DV not read the book but now it is I have no interest in reading that or watching the film

I saw the trailer before Twisters the other day and it definitely made it clear that the relationship was abusive.

Presumably because she wanted the in built (inexplicable) popularity of the Hoover novel.

With a few exceptions like Anyone But You last year, romcoms don't do especially well now.

Maybe I didn't get it 😂
