Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively

I think most of the take down of Blake was due to her own behavour and not people automatically thinking this Justin is great. He knew all the right things to say in press for the movie and Blake said all the wrong things.

Justin is a bit of an unknown for me, I've no idea if he's a great or awful guy but that doesn't change my opinion of Blake.

The stuff about she was forced to promote it like a romcom reminds me of all the garbage made up by Katy Perry fans / paid bad actors that she was forced to work with doctor Luke and release that awful song. In any case no one forced her to use the movie to launch her haircare brand or promote her sugar water.

Yeah, I think it would be pretty standard of her team to have farms to try and control the narrative online. Just like her team is saying he did:
  • Details of two quotes of PR packages - one costing "£175k" for a "3-4 month period" including "full reddit, full social account take downs";
  • Another PR package costing "$25k per month" for "min 3 months" that includes "creation of social fan engagement to go back and forth with any negative accounts, helping to change the narrative and stay on track";
  • Baldoni asking Ms Abel "What is the TikTok strategy" and saying "I'd like you guys to start posting me ONLY talking about domestic violence and clips and why this movie is so important";
  • Ms Abel telling Ms Nathan she was "having reckless thoughts of wanting to plant pieces this week of how horrible Blake is to work with";
  • Ms Abel saying: "The narrative online is so freaking good and fans are still sticking up for Justin" and telling Ms Nathan "you did such amazing work";
  • Ms Nathan telling Ms Abel: "The majority of socials are so pro Justin and I don't even agree with half of them lol";
  • Ms Nathan replying to Ms Abel: "Narrative is CRAZY good";
  • Ms Nathan telling Ms Abel: "We can't write it down to him… We can't write we will destroy her";
  • Ms Nathan adding: "you know we can bury anyone";
  • Ms Nathan saying to Ms Abel: "Don't worry, I didn't kill her and send her in a box to your house", to which Abel replies: "DAMNIT";
  • Ms Nathan telling Ms Abel socials are "really really ramping up", to which Ms Abel adds: "It's actually sad because it just shows you have people really want to hate on women".
It only worked because Blake gave all the ammo, even if they hadn't of tried this strategy the outcome could have been identical.

But what about the sexual harassment that led to the smear campaign? That her fault too? What "ammo" did she give for that?
And Taylor Swift

The list from the meeting that the Sony, HR and his production company (plus Ryan) is pretty damning but also TOTALLY random. Like as if he just can’t speak to her, the mention of her dad seems like he talked about it and she got offended same with him crying then banned him in a weird controlling manner. I imagine she is one of those do not speak unless spoken to celebs at work.

I just don’t understand why she’s not taking legal action against Sony and the HR as they were there, they “knew” about this meeting and these allegations but she’s only suing him. Not seeking actual justice just trying to monetarily destroy Justin. As much as I believe they are both assholes and probably did stuff my gut tells me she has a ulterior and calculated motive.

I was trying to make sense of the timeline. The meeting happened after the film recommenced filming post strike. I think the SH stopped thereafter, but the smear campaign orchestrated by JB started. Sony/HR were involved in ensuring propriety on set, presence of the IC etc, but were likely in the dark about Melissa Nathan etc.

One thing is for sure, Melissa Nathan and her "crisis PR" is fucked. Very sloppy texts from someone supposed to be untraceable.

Not sure how american justice system works, but it seems the messages weren’t subpoenaed wnd it seems they obtained them from the agency the PR lady worked at.

whilst I don’t have anything to say on the allegations against Justin (very horrible if all true) it’s funny how the tables are quickly turning and people are saying how disgusted they were by falling for all the social media backlash against Blake yet they cannot see that they are falling for it again from the Reynolds camp against Justin right now.

I also came across someone saying this isn’t a filed legal challenge yet, just a legal complaint. So does that mean she isn’t actually suing him yet? She’s just releasing the info ?

The PR company seem to have an axe to grind with (Justin’s) PR lady who left them
