Yeah that was one of the moments that made me warm to him. This week's definitely made me soften towards them

He is somewhat odd but it's very cleat how much he loves his wife which is quite endearing

I wonder if there's almost an exclusion zone around checkpoints (or at certain strategic points) where there are no work opportunities, otherwise they could all do that if they know they're ahead.

Pretty sure in a previous season one team worked close to the check point? At some bakery.
Although that was after the checkpoint time was over and if they are just waiting around there for transport anyway I don't see why they couldn't work. But same before really as they could've worked hard to get to a checkpoint quickly or spent a lot to get there quickly so why shouldn't they be able to work even if they know their ahead

Just putting it out there but watching Isobel and eugiene is like watching my daughter and our relationship. My daughter has had everything, my time, love and patience. At 19 she is rude, entitled, immature and lacks any understanding of anyone other than people she chooses to have in her bubble. Everyone who meets my daughter says she’s such good fun and lovely and it makes me question myself all the time as is it me.? Our son even says he hates how she treats us as he sees it first hand too so don’t always assume it’s the mother
I genuinely hope for things to get better with my daughter but I can’t see it to be honest and it upsets me as I had such a lovely special bond with my mum

I was like this with my mum at that age, we ended up best mates once i'd grown out of it, would give my right arm to speak to her for five minutes now xx big hugs xx
 
Finally caught up after travelling across Indo myself!

I really like James and Betty, the way they handled the lost passports was admirable, even tho she was devastated she didn’t meltdown and he was so kind. Hoping they make the time back.

The last ferry is the reason this program is so frustrating, only one boat in 24hrs in the back of beyond makes it less a race and more just a game of luck!

Hoping Steven’s stinginess bites him on the arse. Like I said, I’m just back from Indo, taxis are everywhere and cost pennies, they should have just jumped in one when stuck. Admittedly you take your life in to your hands, cars travel 3 abreast, red lights mean nothing and internally they are kept together with cardboard and tape, but they will get you where you need to be!
