Probably helped that he'd had his own issue and his sister was very supportive.James grew in my estimation a lot in the last episode. Reassuring, kind and funny. Just what you want in an emergency.
I know I am probably in the minority, but I like Steven and wife. I have met a lot of older couples that seem just like them. There was a bit in this episode when she mentioned wearing a bikini in her younger days, and he was looking at her like he thought she was just as beautiful now as then
He is somewhat odd but it's very cleat how much he loves his wife which is quite endearingI know I am probably in the minority, but I like Steven and wife. I wonder if there's almost an exclusion zone around checkpoints (or at certain strategic points) where there are no work opportunities, otherwise they could all do that if they know they're ahead.I was surprised the boys didn't try and work close to the check point when they knew they were 24 hours ahead but I guess they can do it in the next leg instead
Pretty sure in a previous season one team worked close to the check point? At some bakery.I wonder if there's almost an exclusion zone around checkpoints (or at certain strategic points) where there are no work opportunities, otherwise they could all do that if they know they're ahead.
He wouldn’t have seen her then. He’s her third husbandI know I am probably in the minority, but I like Steven and wife. I have met a lot of older couples that seem just like them. I was like this with my mum at that age, we ended up best mates once i'd grown out of it, would give my right arm to speak to her for five minutes now xx big hugs xxJust putting it out there but watching Isobel and eugiene is like watching my daughter and our relationship. My daughter has had everything, my time, love and patience. At 19 she is rude, entitled, immature and lacks any understanding of anyone other than people she chooses to have in her bubble. I can’t ever say anything right, everything is my fault and quite frankly in eugienes words I’m her punch bag. However when she’s in trouble or needs help good old mum is always here. There is never any empathy towards me and her dad, never no interest in what we do it’s all about her and she criticises us constantly. Easy to say eugiene is a narc but it’s honestly exhausting and soul destroying. I love my daughter endlessly but there comes a point where you do give up and retreat into yourself as your at a loss of what to do
Everyone who meets my daughter says she’s such good fun and lovely and it makes me question myself all the time as is it me.? Our son even says he hates how she treats us as he sees it first hand too so don’t always assume it’s the mother
I genuinely hope for things to get better with my daughter but I can’t see it to be honest and it upsets me as I had such a lovely special bond with my mum
If they don’t win, I’ll be disappointedCan’t see beyond the boys winning really now
