I live in North Wales and people go missing in Snowdonia often, sometimes they turn up alive sometimes they don’t. 'Hiding a surgical abortion' is a prime example of why I hate the mumsnet acronyms with a passion. I spent the whole time reading it like 😲 wondering why the duck someone was posting about having sex with their brother and then having an abortion. Only to discover that the poster was using DB to mean dear boyfriend

Unless it's just me who got confused and everyone would automatically know they meant boyfriend when it normally means brother haha

Great one in AIBU about a woman who's had the Police looking for her. A few posters have pointed out it could be a death notice, but thats not stopped the usual over invested hanging on for updates. Someone has called it out half way through but other poster appears to think they're owed an update. It's all a bit batshit.

At least she's found something to distract her from being a world authority on Iceland, volcanoes, Brexit, the economy, UK politics, US politics, the war in Gaza, the war in Ukraine, nuclear weapons, education, feminism, aviation and covid. Woman must spend about 19 hours a day on Twitter to reach that level of expertise.
