I haven’t watched her explanation video on it, but it just doesn’t add up why she pays for her dad to live in a 3 bed or whatever rental when it’s just him.

He’s an adult he should down-size and rent just for himself. There has to be something more like he lent her money back in the day and she has to pay him back? No decent parent would want to hold their child back...surely? It’s odd AF! I don’t get it!

I’m so confused about how blocking people deleting Twitter because she can’t handle criticism is making a more nuanced conversation about iNtEnSe ToPiCs, if you can’t handle sharing opinions without backlash then you shouldn’t be on the internet let alone it be your first job you can’t just come on and spout your opinions and leave again , you wouldn’t go into a room and shout a whole pile of tit and then leave . I've moved out but I'd still come home to my dad's for a couple of days she doesn't even live there and pays rent?? Apperently because she uses a room to film? Idk but my dad just wouldn't charge me rent esp if he knew I was saving for a house

I agree. It's entirely normal for family to split up a bit once everyone starts making little families of their own. Jobs and housing markets change, this isn't a new thing. You've got to adapt. And sometimes that means moving a short commute away. She should consider herself lucky. Canada is huge, I have family members who live 27 hours drive away.

Sucks that she may be making people feel bad about their circumstances. The fact that she even has the option to live where she wants is SUCH a privilege, and she's rubbing it in everyone's face like she's owed it.

Hmm still doesn’t add up. Skerries surely isn’t the only town near his work or nearby he could rent alone in. On one hand she wants to me a martyr and seen as a good daughter (so kind) but then she says she can’t get a house. There’s more to the story she doesn’t want to admit - whether it’s an odd dynamic, indebted to him, or he’s emotionally blackmailing her in some way! I’ll die on this hill .

It just doesn’t add up for a parent to sit in a big house, where his kids have moved out and not be able to rent it by himself (or even have his own house at his age).
It’s the millennial generation that has been f*cked by the housing market boom/higher cost of living than wages not his.

Her living situation doesnt bother me cause each to their own but i do agree its odd that she says they have more room at the in-laws. even if their house is bigger does she really have more room in a house with 4 adults a teenager and a baby than she would in a smaller house where they are sharing with only one other adult? and if its a three bed house then they would even have a spare room. if she wants to stay where she is cause shes happier there then thats a perfectly legitimate reason i just think she gives the most illogical reasons to her viewers.
