Apparently I’m in the top 20% of Monzo spenders at M&S where the hell is my influencer box 🙄🙄

Picky bits are a way of life

Ooh an offer I will actually use!

I got the same one but thought it was because I bought a packet of them yesterday. Their sour sweets aren't sour enough for me though.

So I also returned some boots in the DIY counter and still haven't received the confirmation they've received them. Less bothered about the money, but still need it, just worried it'll get missed.

Omg I opened my advent calendar today (the mini bites one) and there was NO chocolate 🥹 I looked down below it and couldn’t see that anything had fallen down!

Also, considering pre ordering a platter of their sandwiches for my daughters first birthday in January as they’ve sent me 20% off for parenthood and I can order now and collect around her birthday which is end of Jan.

Anyone who has previously ordered them, how long do they last? I’m having her party the day after her birthday when wee having a little party at home. But the party is at 2pm so don’t want to risk them only being available to collect in the afternoon on that day. Then considering ordering to collect the day before her party, but that’s her actual birthday and me and her dad are planning to take her out somewhere for the day, so don’t want to have to collect in the middle of the day on her birthday… if I ordered to collect the day before that - so two days before the party - would they last that long ok in the fridge ?

Sorry really long winded way of asking 😅 or does anyone know what the collection time for them usually is ?
I would call them and check on time for the actual day as two days before is too long in my opinion as they aren’t wrapped and sealed individually - you risk the stale and/or soggy sandwich 🤢

I'm sure food is normally an early morning collection because they expect you to eat it the same day. So you should be able to order it for the morning, double check with them but I have 10am in my head as collection time for when I used to do meeting orders, but this was years ago.

Just had a survey regarding sparks as a whole and how the offers are fairing this year compared to the advent calendar of disappointment. It's safe to say I mentioned more than twice the fact they have all our valuable shopping data and never use it to give us personalised offers. I mentioned vegetarians getting money off meat(and usually 50p off £7 etc) and people without children being sent 20% off kids clothes or the other random offers they send.

I've actually had some decent offers and used a bunch of them today. £2 off a big panettone, 20% off basic mince pies, £1 off collection mince pies, that percy pig offer, and £3 off a bottle of Sloe Gin Sour cocktail. The Percy Pig offer is for your total spend, I got 3 bags for Christmas stockings with 25% off the lot.
I’ve got all of these too. And I’ve got the £2 odd the cream liqueur etc. they seem to be dishing out lots of Christmas sparks offers lately in place of the advent calendar.

And thanks to those who got back to me about the sandwich platter! I think I’ll call and ask about collection times and try and get it on the day of the party. You’re right, no one wants soggy sandwiches

Has anyone actually seen a box of the mushroom vol-au-vents they are advertising in the party food? I've been to three different branches, including central Manchester and nothing.
