Just made the mistake of popping into the food hall while I was in town giving blood, thought I deserved a little treat. Absolute carnage. Grabbed some turkey gravy and bread sauce a turkey feast sandwich and got the hell out of there. People just stood everywhere like they’ve never seen a Christmas food selection before. I wanted some other bits but M&S seem to think that everyone has massive amounts of people to feed at this time of year, never just sell enough for 2 people. Did notice that most of the stuff I’ve got sparks offers for was piled high, the light up mince pie liqueur seems particularly well stocked, can’t think why 😂

Hey lovely folk, please can anyone recommend a really, really good ready made gravy? I was going to buy the M&S stuff but then saw a couple of tik tokers saying it was really salty which has put me off a bit 🫤 Any help muchly appreciated 🌲❤🌲

Gravy for turkey or beef? The collection ones last year were excellent I must say, not gloopy like most supermarket gravies are. The new best ever gravy looks good but sorry to say I’ve not tried it yet.

This morning with Phil Vickery did a taste test of the best fresh gravies the other week.

not as much as i hated the hole tourists who had multiple kids and prams in CentralLondon when we were trying to walk from Piccadily Circus to Leicester Sqaure cos of effed up tubes

just WHY are you taking kids and prams to central London on a Saturday night you absolute melts and more importantly why arent your kids in bed after 8pm?
 
I braved M&S last night at 6.30 and it was fine. Got everything I wanted for Xmas dinner. Not many yellow stickers but I did get the Xmas Sando on one. I also influenced someone into buying the Brussel Sprout Gratin.
Will go in Xmas Eve with no pressure on me. Hoping to get another gratin on yellow.

The Christmas programme the other night on channel 5 had Aldi fresh turkey gravy top. Which is the one I will get this year.
