The readymade Christmas dinner seems to be top in the taste test stakes. Probably cheaper than making it yourself, but will it be doll sized portions.🤔
Did anyone have it last year?
Think it's this one from what's been described to me:

We had it last year, though I got it with 50% off as a last minute flash sale item on Ocado just before Christmas so perhaps I might be more forgiving due to the price. I thought it was decent. I remember there were plenty of potatoes as we saved some for another day, there was not enough turkey for substantial leftovers and it definitely needed extra gravy but if you want quick and easy it was fine but I'd add some extra sides as well . They sell the slow cooked turkey part of the meal separately and I've ordered that again this year.

I felt the need to report back on what made it to New Zealand, all of these alongside the pigs in blanket crisps and Boxing Day crisps!!! To say I’m excited is an understatement

This isn’t just M&S food related but just getting so frustrated with M&S at the moment.
My son’s birthday is between Xmas and new year with a party on the 29th. Could I order a cake from them, nope. Apparently people don’t have birthdays at that time of year. I could have ordered for a last collection date of the 18th December!
Secondly I ordered some slippers on the 5th December for collection, didn’t really pay attention to the date but the first collection day available was a Thursday so selected that. Just realised I didn’t have a message on Thursday to say they were here, no that will be because they aren’t expected until Thursday 19th Dec. 2 bloody weeks wait, if there is a problem it’s cutting it fine for me to get other pairs and they are presents. Sort it out M&S, I’m paying a premium for your goods and expect a good service. This is not a good service

I waited a month for the Christmas wreath to be delivered, kept getting delayed, then it got lost, then found again then turned up like it’d been kicked round the warehouse. Had already gone elsewhere so it got returned without even being opened, was a right PITA to get it sent back the box was huge

Finally saw the blond pecans in the wild! There were two bags left, so obviously I took both of them 🤣

One bag is going to be part of a mini Christmas hamper for a friend and the other bag is for me to do quality control 🤣 I also picked up a bag of the milk chocolate & almond clouds for her - I think I might wrap both of them tonight, so I don't end up accidentally opening them...

Have you tried a local baker? Just thinking of small businesses and all that!

I agree their delivery dates are far too long. I looked at a top and skirt at the start of last week for an event tonight. Click and collect dates were end of NEXT week so no point.

my click and collect bra came next day,its about the only thing they have impressed me with lately
Tell me, I always thought M&S bra sizing was markedly different to say, triumph or John Lewis own brand etc. is that true? I haven’t bought a bra from M&S for many many years because I thought it was too much hassle to get the right size

FFS as if they haven’t spent a fortune on Z list influencers already they have to bring this fake wagon in and pay her a fecking fortune!! 🤬

We went to a bigger one on a road trip yesterday. I’m quite excited because we hopefully might be moving to that area and then I’ll have a bigger shop to resist.

Anyway, OH wanted cookies so I got the white chocolate ones. Later, we were in the pub and I got questioned as to why I hadn’t got the ginger ones. Cue big rant about dough, influencers, advent. I swear the other people thought I was off my nut. Anyway, illness means food has been tasting off, but their jarslberg on rye toast has really been hitting the spot. That’s what they need to do, basics elevated. I’d pay for that (like more merino and cashmere). It’s really not hard.

I also haven't bought a bra from M&S since they measured me as a 34C and the actual bra shop measured me at a 30F!!
The Fantasie Bra I bought that day was literally life changing, no more saggy boobs, decent posture, clothes looked amazing on me.

Had my first M&S party food dinner last night while watching Strictly final. Really enjoyed the patatas bravas stacks, something different from previous years, would definitely get again. Mini pies - last week I tried the Morrisons ones and they were ok, but a bit dry and claggy. But M&S ones are top tier, perfect pastry, super tasty fillings. I'd buy these all year round if they sold them. Husband also enjoyed the mini steak sandwiches and I've still got the chicken Kievs which we didn't even open last night as the rest was plenty for us.

Regarding the Christmas party food, is it available to buy up until new years or does it fade out before? I want to get it all on for NYE but probably won’t have chance to go until the 30th and don’t have much freezer space

From experience in my local stores, you will have no problems with party food on the 30th.
