He could barely BARELY get out he loved her and it was obvious he was struggling saying the words as he knew he didn’t mean it. He’s not a good liar and I don’t think he could have faked 8 weeks with her if he didn’t remotely like or fancy her. I don’t think the fakeness goes to that extent.
