I think that he'd rather be anywhere else but with her. When he said he needed to spend more time with her, it sounded like he was doing it out of duty or to make himself look better.

Oh yeah he doesn't like her at all. Sometimes he actually comes across as if he's trying to hide that he's almost disgusted by her. It's horrible to watch!
I don't trust Liberty's motives either but I don't think she's as bad as him.

I think in a few years one or both of them will sell a tell-all on what that dynamic was actually like.

Anyone that genuinely liked someone would be upset, worried and telling them how much they truly care if the person they liked was having doubts. Instead of naturally wanting to reassure her he’s just defensive, angry and dismissive

I don’t think he’s disgusted by her but I think he’s full of himself and thinks he could do better looks wise (he’s wrong)
