The thing that annoys me most about Jake is that every conversation they have about their relationship is only about her feelings for him.
When they went for that chat after the heart rate challenge he was asking her if she liked his outfit, asking about his moves, talking all about him and her feelings for him. He didn't reciprocate AT ALL. He didn't tell her she looked amazing, didn't say he loved her dance. Toby reacted better in the diary room about Liberty's dance than Jake did and she's HIS GURLFREND 🙄🙄🙄
He's a manipulative, gas lighting, misogynistic PRICK!!!
If I was his mother I would be so so deeply ashamed of raising a man like that.

I'm worried that Liberty is so far gone that when the girls tell her the truth in Sunday's episode she'll shoot the messenger and end her friendships with them because she doesn't want to believe it.

Yeah, Jake will double down and tell the other lads that their girlfriends are interfering - he's the type to spread tit like that to deflect, and he seems to hold a lot of power over the others. I can see Tyler and Kaz falling out over it, Faye is probably treading carefully, Toby won't mind what Chloe says as he's a lovable doofus.
 
The fact Faye didn’t go off on one when they were one of the three couples voted most likely to split makes you KNOW the producers definitely told her to be better behaved from now on 🙄

This series really has gone out of its way to show toxic relationships.

It’s an absolute madness to me that the most real and unproblematic couple IMO is bloody Chloe and Toby 😂🙈
 
So basically tonight I’m too intoxicated to say anything else but….Chloe and Toby to win 🤣 otherwise I’ll be livid about Faye and her lips or I’ll be livid about lib and being under a manipulative prick or I’ll be livid that Millie and Liam are getting forgotten about his actions.

I’m kind of with you. I don’t think he likes Lib as much as she likes him but don’t think he’s as eeeeevil as is implied either.

Defo here 🇮🇪 i would say norm timeline is Dating > boyfriend/gf > fall in love
To be fair hes right...its not something that should be thrown around. He shouldn't have felt like he had to say it especially after a short amount of time!! There's a lot of things he could say to reassure her that he likes her or sees a future. But he never says anything remotely nice 🙈

Exactly! It’s more that he never reassured her, he never tells her she’s beautiful or stunning, he just replies ‘but YoUrE MY GirLfRIeND’ it’s so manipulative in saying I don’t need to say you’re all of the above cause I’ve put a label on it! I really hope she fucks this toad off

I've hated him since he was going out somewhere (on a date?) with Lib and shoved something in his red/orange shorts to look like an erection. Horrible person. But I'm not wishing the worst for him or anything. He's a phony like Liam and Tyler. They're all in the same bullshit league for me.

Thursdays episode made her stay away from kaz so they'd get the big hug and more airtime alone.

Told her tonight he loved her so she wouldn't dump him.

Told the other lads to craic on in casa amor so he'd more chance at winning.

Giggles and goes red when she talks about them as a couple.

He doesnt love her. And he deffo doesn't respect or even fancy her.

That’s fair enough I suppose everyone is different! He shouldn’t have rushed to put a label on it though the fact he did that but is holding off to say I love you now looks like he made that move because he knew it would give them the better chance of winning. There was no need to make it official so soon if he wasn’t there yet. He never says anything nice to her, compliments her or reassures her. He strikes me as the kind of guy that doesn’t wanna build up his girlfriends confidence too much so she retaliates he’s too good for him.

I agree and I'm 🇮🇪🇮🇪 also...I have never been told I love you BEFORE being a girlfriend...its always been dating/seeing ...bf/gf....love
