There was a time when I thought maybe Jake just isn't someone who naturally gives a lot of compliments. My partner isn't but luckily nor am I so it doesn't really bother me. But Jake doesn't seem to have any problem saying that other women are lovely and attractive, it's only Liberty that was haven't seen him say it about. That's what makes me uncomfortable about it- it doesn't seem to be an issue with how he communicates, he comes across as just not wanting to say anything nice about her.

Plus he brought in those god awful bracelets for the sole purpose to make someone in their his girlfriend. He seems to have no problem showing off but can't seem to get out even the most basic compliments, especially for someone he claimed to like so much he made them his guuuuurrrlfriend.

That is the norm (I’m also Irish) but I’ve had both experiences - with exes it was that way and the relationships never worked.

With my boyfriend now who I’m with 6 years we fell in love first, said it, then became bf & gf. I’m convinced that’s why this relationship has been better the whole time 🤷🏻‍♀️ Can’t see why people get together if they’re not sure about the person yet

To be honest I think a few of them need to look at their own relationships instead of focusing on Jake and Liberty, there are a few playing a game in there.

Jake is so full of tit. He went in with a game plan and a cheap bracelet. I sadly believe Liberty is that dumb to have fallen for all of it. She found a boy she liked the look of and is holding on for dear life. She hasn't even so much as flirted with another bloke. Like not once considered the grass may be greener elsewhere despite it being the premise of the fecking show. If you think about it, I don't think she has been funny once? She just uses soundbites "we're the same person", "he's a bit of me", "my boyfriend".

Jake wanted someone hotter but was prepared to go through this facade anyway after she gave him the shittest ultimatum of all time.

It nearly killed him to get the I Love You out because a) he doesn't even like her as a person that much, never mind have the horn for her, so he definitely doesn't love her AND b) he has had the whole I Love You declaration planned since he hit 'place order' on Ali Express for the bracelet. Maybe there's another cheap trinket in his suitcase for the event? The matching necklace! Or a personalised pillowcase saying "Jake loves me", a key ring maybe? A coaster? T-shirt?

As an American, I'm still so surprised and kind of tickled at the fact you can just dial up and complain that you don't like a certain person or character on TV- We have nothing like that that I know of where they'd actually take it into account/ seriously ( entirely possible, I do live under a rock). It humors me a little! :)

OT because I know she's not there anymore, but I really do love Georgia. I love that she didn't alter her face or her freckles and that she came in wearing what was to her taste despite people making fun of it.

Following her on IG has been refreshing. And I was surprised at bc someone asked her what age did she want to be married in a story and she said " I don't care if it's at 30 or 50 as long as it's the right person". These days that's rare to hear.

She is, isn't she?! Really impulsive and hot headed.
I reckon the plastic surgeries were slightly impulsive, especially the lips, because it sounds like she is regretting having it done. She takes the piss out of them herself, quoting other people's comments etc. Yet she's the most defensive person I've come across.
 
Liberty has none of my sympathy now - Jake is a walking red flag and she’s seen what the public think of their relationship - yet she’s still confused …. Yesterday she was calling herself very perceptive 😂😂😂 she’s as much in it for the attention as he is - she’s a very insecure person who will stay with someone as long as they are telling her what she wants to hear. Like most of the people in there she is desperate and weak
