I'm off work sick today and watching series 1. Chloe Gates looks about 10? There's a whole thing about Jackie Laverty paying for her to go to private school- it's possible she was smart/got some help getting to the AC-12 position. This is meant to be about 10 years later, they could suddenly decide she was 12 at the time and make it fit.

Good old Buccles was assigned to the Laverty case when Tony was taken off it. I'm not sure if there's a deliberate link having Buccles arrested and her body found in this series. Or if it's just excellent writing of bringing names in so that it feels more realistic that all these people know each other in the area.

Burnside? Are we getting a LoD/Bill crossover. Burnside was always came across as a bent bastard. You will need to be of a certain age to remember i.e ancient like me

I recongnised the name McCandless but i dont know where from, could be bloody anything
Mate! I read the other day that they're bringing back the bill under a different name. Would love this to happen Hastings v Burnside 😳😂

I re-watched series 1 last week. Didn't really pick up on anything new but it did occur to me that Line of Duty is essentially Steve's story. It all started with him standing up for the truth and joining AC-12. I had a thought that if things come full circle it might end with him dying.
On his podcast, Craig Parkinson keeps referring to the tagline 'Lies cost Lives.' He seems convinced one of the three is going to die, and has said a few times he thinks Steve is the most likely candidate.
^I spoiler tagged this but it is really just speculation as I don't think Craig Parkinson has any inside info at this point.

I'm very curious as to if series 7 will happen. Nothing confirmed yet but Jed Mercurio did an interview with the Radio Times where he seems hopeful of another series. I would think that if he wants to do it, it'll happen. It does feel like certain storylines might be wrapped up this series though.

the shoot out from last week and the police woman who died weren't even mentioned tonight. Think it's jumped the shark for me

When Chloe handed Steve the DNA file in E4, he was reading/writing an email to the staff informing them that AFO Ruby Jones lost her life in the line of duty.
