A few things:

-I don't know how Buckells is still in prison - Carmichael's completely right, the evidence is so tenuous that he is being held on, and Hastings did a poor job of interviewing him.

-Hastings said 'that's MY officer out there!' about Kate - but we don't think she's undercover for him? I was confused about that, is Hastings confused or does he feel responsible for Kate.

-Double tapping (shooting twice) was explained in the Danny Waldron series as a technique coppers with guns training do. I think it was Kate who shot.

I’ve said from the beginning of this series I think she’s either undercover and only ted knows. Or she’s been undercover from the very beginning. I don’t know if it’s the way she acts but she constantly seems like she’s undercover

I learned about 15 or more years ago when Lost was on TV that if you don't want to stumble on a spoiler you need to stay off the internet. The whole internet 😂 It's not rocket science you're actively coming onto this thread where a show and theories are being discussed - if you see a spoiler thats your own fault 🤷

Kate’s not undercover but she left AC-12 and Hastings acknowledged it was his fault and he put her and Steve in a difficult position. She called him “gaffer” out of habit but I think Hastings still sees Kate as his officer as she’s been AC-12 for years and is assisting with the case.

When game of thrones aired night before I literally turned my phone off all day!

I know Kate is alive but I saw a post.

The hammer Ryan’s gun was pulled back before his warning shot to Jo.

He did not pull it back again after the warning shot when he faced Kate again so the gun may not fire at all.

We've seen Ryan use knives before but not guns. AFOs like Kate have to practice at police firing ranges. How much opportunity does a probationary constable have to practice shooting workshopped guns…?

Kate may have shot the bent bas*ard twice!

Seems everyone online is assuming that any relationship between Tommy and Jo's mum would be Tommy's "fault". I'd like to speculate maybe Tommy was abused by his sister (after all, he is only 13/14 years older than Jo) and that could have got him put in care where he wanted to abuse others. It's pretty common for victims of bullying and abuse to grow up to be bullies and abusers- lots of kids with terrible parents become terrible parents for example.

Me too, cant stand Jimmu Nesbitt he boils my piss. If he is in something I dont watch it so will be mighty pissed if he rocks up after all this time.

Aw, I love him! Not even sure why. I was very excited to see him.

I agree, I don't think she's undercover either.

Maybe they were both abused by their parents which led to 'consensual' (using that term lightly) intercourse between them. Perhaps they got put into separate carehomes when it was found out and Tommy continued the abuse while his sister raised Jo?

That's also a fair point.
