This is apparently the clip from hist last podcast where he said he wasn't interested in Sam Smith's pronouns. Thought it would be worse, can't see the issue with this.

I think he speaks for most of us there. I'm sick to death of the majority feeling obliged to alter their way of saying and doing things in order to appease a shrill minority.

O'Brien must be nervous after the Laura K incident.

By the way there was quite a nasty message on Twitter from Iain Lee about Steve Allen. I presume they must have had a bust up in the past.

I noticed JoB made a "that's quite a charge" comment on Friday's show....on a different subject. He can't be thrilled about the removal. Maybe he is next on the list for the guillotine. Neck on the block time..

He looks like he's ready to combust. One more mention of gender neutral bathrooms and his blood pressure might go through the roof.

That health kick of a few years ago didn't last long. No one call nick and say you think boomers have had it easy.

Without nick F (nick a is already a write off since brexit) all you're left with is jobbie and a load of interchangeable stand in types.

James chose a bad time to do that silly Laura K video that LBC then felt forced to withdraw.

What is the Laura K incident?
If you look back it was referred to on here with some suggesting that Janes would be in trouble if Laura K took legal action. James did one of those LBC video clips where he put words in her mouth. Basically his usual name calling nonsense.

But then LBC deleted it suggesting that someone has second thoughts or that someone's lawyers had been on the phone.

It would be a brave lawyer who goes to court with the foundation of his case being that Boris Johnson is not a liar!

I would say the person least likely to be sacked from LBC is Nick Ferrari (at breakfast!). I maybe wrong though !!!!
---

The MOST likely. He is white, middle class, middle aged, over 60, and a conservative. That means means he has further to bend over to accommodate the wokery LBC now prefer, and will be easier to catch out if he speaks mistakenly.

Also with the radio industry's current trend of ousting the oldies who refuse to retire, I think he will be disappearing very soon. In cancelling Steve Allen, LBC have proved they are not totally averse to their sponsors going else where. Let's face it, his ratings were still increasing quarter on quarter.

Andrew Marr is a good asset though?

I see him more as a privateer, just a 'name' for a one hour show. Maybe that's where LBC is heading ... a bit like the publishing industry, where it's far safer to publish books by someone 'known' because it's more likely to shift copies even if the actual book itself is crap.
