Have a feeling that Ferrari lost listeners from the Red Wall in the North as they probably tired of hearing of Hammersmith Bridge, he’s still way too London-centric.

And yes Serenande Radio is a good one, I sing along with most of the lyrics, don”t know if this is a good, bad or sad thing😉
LBC is Londoncentric because it's still, by definition, a local station, based in and catering for London. Digital broadcasting has made it available not just to the rest of the country but the rest of the world. It's not unusual to get calls and texts from other countries, but LBC doesn't give traffic bulletins for Sydney or Barcelona. They leave that to stations local to the area. Ditto Liverpool or Cardiff.

I was being a facetious but you have to admit Hammersmith Bridge is a bit niche.

As for the traffic reports I must listen next time I'm up in Liverpool because some of the national stations do change to local traffic reports 🤔

Apparently misleading people ( some would call it lying) is just fine if you are James's favourite legal eagle. Oh and he was forced to apologise after trying a series of insults...

Really poor from James as he has a dig at Brexit in his opening comments on what Putin is doing in Ukraine.

Where is the EU that according to him is so powerful and has kept the peace for 50 years?

The UK has in fact helped Ukraine with weapons whilst the EU has looked the other way.
Perhaps he hasn't heard that Germany buy most of their gas from Russia and are terrified that the pipelines could be shut down!

O'brien's clueless again "help me out here"
It's not like there's a wealth of info out there James regarding a potential European conflict led by a megalomaniac.
Tom Swarbrick (husky vocals) sounded awful last night, thought I'd tuned into Dickie Spurr for a second, he finished an hour early, not surprisingly.
As ever it is apparently Brexit's fault.

" The thing about 'international law' - as with all law, really - is that you can't really telegraph your willingness to break it and also retain any right to tell other people not to. Johnson has already broken so much that we used to take for granted. "

Meanwhile back in the real world the energy policy decisions made by one of his heroines Angela Merkel remain ignored. As Maggie points out she left Germany hooked on gas from Russia.

Big news this.

I was thinking how blissful it must be to live in Steve's world. Steve just focuses on celebrity culture, showbiz, and shopping at Waitrose and buying mash from Iceland. While many people are getting in a tizzy about Russia/Ukraine, Steve will be laying back on the sofa watching repeats of Only way is Essex and mocking their accents by shouting 'SHAATUP!' and having a glass of prosecco with his neighbour. Lucky sod.

I'm hoping this is the end of nick Abbott on Sundays. He's had that slot as a bandaid while they figure out what to do with the station for years now!

He was declaring how awful he felt, why would you even go in to do a radio show when your voice is in that state! Who covered the last hour?

And giving Marc Almond his sparkly red jacket!! What a weird turn of events that was.

Reading more about it, I get the impression that they are being hired more for doing podcasts rather than actual programmes. Perhaps they'll just have a two-hander once a week.

There definitely the best radio for podcasts. I go through about 5 a week.

I'm starting to wander if they'll be a big shake up with who has what slots.
