For a fortnight I think. As well as Suella on Tuesday, Emily Thornberry tomorrow and then three other current and ex MPs whose names escape me. I shall enjoy Emily; she's such a terrible old snob.

I think it would be better to have a rolling “cast”. Different labour or Lib Dem guest every week, not necessarily female. I don’t need to see relationships being built and him trying to push them into knob/tit jokes. The whole thing’s been stale for years.

Said he was going to have Sheila Fogerty on as well, not sure if it's happened yet

I imagine that she is somewhat miffed to have been overlooked by Keir Starmer in terms of ministerial roles?

She was Shadow Attorney General but one of Starmer's mates, a previous colleague from chambers, got the job in the Cabinet. She was, to quote The Guardian, 'sorry and surprised' not to get the job, which probably meant 'bloody furious'. 😉
 
I'm enjoying Emily this morning. It's a relief to hear discussion without confrontation.

She 's just mentioned Kemi Badenoch's speech to Angela Rayner about house building. If you've got 13 minutes to spare, it's worth a listen, both as a dose of cold reality, and sheer entertainment. I thought we'd lost this with Penny Mordaunt but Kemi is just as good.
