Didn't she make the horrible accidental acid cooked fish in celery Edinburgh? That was long before the Del Monte partnership. I don't remember a mackerel ceviche for them, only the revolting pineapple chicken 🤷
Possibly. I've tried to block out the terrible things that took place in that room- imagine the poor cleaning staff going in after she left. The things they must have seen.

i’m pretty sure she marinated yellow sticker fish in lemon juice all afternoon then cooked it on a low heat for 2 hours…curiously it seems to have disappeared off the grid 🤔

Will it work with some citrus Opal Fruits and Smartprice fish fingers?
I'm off to try. I'll let you all know tomorrow. Btw before anyone asks - yes *obviously* I will melt down the Opal Fruits with some boiling water.
Will you be using the non citrus strawberry opal fruits?

I once "cooked" a whole leg of lamb by pouring on water infused skittles and leaving to marinade overnight. Obviously you only use the lemon, lime and orange skittles otherwise it doesn't work! Best £50 meal I ever made. Do the poors know how easy it is to make food without wasting money on energy?

was pootling around, looking for any evidence of a mackerel ceviche and discovered that she was already wearing her tv shirt a year ago!

I'd like to know - whose life has she made a huge difference to? I had to use a food bank a few years ago (not Trussell) and her recipes weren't mentioned. All the food was donated by people in the local community, and supported by the local supermarkets. There's plenty of books with low cost recipes, plus hundreds of frugal blogs and youtube channels. Smartprice/value brands were available in the '90s, I remember buying them.
I work alongside of alot of people skint and a part from a few of my friends who have decent well paid jobs, no one else I know seems to know if her.

I actually mentioned her to a mum I know the other day and she said who is she? The lady fitted her demographic. She was a single mum on benefits and not alot of spare cash!
