Tell me Fraus. The lingreenie. I’ve never eaten raw courgette before. Have I lived a sheltered life? Is this a thing?

Also it’s moments like that you see why they stick with certain presenters on TV time and again and they get £££. They keep the show on the road no matter what’s going down!

We had raw courgette last night thanks to Hello Fresh ... it was lovely on top of a lamb stew thing ... ribboned with a vegetable peeler.

It feels like being a tit on Twitter is actually a pretty valid career path nowadays. As long as you're the most boring run-of-the-mill leftie ever (and I say this as a leftie myself BTW!), have the ability to be on Twitter 24/7 and can churn out content. You're good. Of course, if you say something forbidden, or someone digs out a MySpace post from 2009 where you used a no-no word as an idiot teenager, then you're finished. But for now, just make some outrageous remarks and fly off the handle a lot.

Also cut flowers are riddled with ethical problems. Almost 90% come from Kenya and Colombia where pesticide regulation is lacking, DDT in particular is used, water pollution is high, and the carbon footprint is high as the flowers are exported via airplane. Monocultures are created by corporations buying up land for flower production and they have exclusive water rights to the detriment of the native communities. There was some civil unrest in Kenya after the 2007 election and that resulted in riots and some 100 deaths as the military were brought in to protect flower shipments under threat.
Women and children make up the majority of the floriculture industry. So much for IWD which I personally see as a performative gimmick that allows the over privelaged to engage in much back patting. Jack and Arena flowers are a big part of the problem.
Local and seasonal sourced flowers are genuinely the most ethical however they may be hard to find as only 10% of flowers sold in the UK are grown here.
In all honesty, cut flowers are drenched in the blood of our fellow humans, animals and planet. As a species we need to start making sacrifices.

This would be funny if it was from someone who just wanted to try and cut down their social media time. However she said she is off twitter because of a serious private matter so it just looks rude and disrespectful to whoever she is supposedly supporting. Obviously Megan and Piers Morgan hot takes are more important than family 🤷🏻‍♀️
