Open letter from the mother of the seventeen year old in the Mail. Pleased she's made a victim statement and made clear reference to those poor children.

Although I'm confused at her son's situation before connecting with HE. I thought the lad was homeless and that's why he wrote to celebs for help, but she states 'My son was a normal, happy l teenager before you wormed your way into his life'.

The poor family will never be able to move on from this because HE will pop up and be referred to in media articles in the future

Yep. Absolutely no way that someone who finds kids sexually attractive will ever change. They're hopeless and will always present a danger to children.

He can't make money out of it, because of proceeds of crime laws. Whether that would cover an autobiography of which this was one chapter I'm not sure.

People can't read minds. Based on information available at the time it wasn't unreasonable to say or think that it was more on the "unwise but not illegal" end.
