I feel that Daemon should just jump off a cliff and get it over with. For me he now brings nothing to the show and I fast forward through his bits. SIr Crispy needs to be fried.
Also I don't like Emma D'arcy, for me she makes Rhaenyra seem weak. I just find a lot of the actors in this series aren't very good, they're so wooden and bring nothing to characters.

Saying all this, enjoying the show

I understand the point of the Harrenhal scenes and the hallucinations, but it’s been three episodes and I find them quite boring now. It feels like they’re extending these scenes because Matt Smith is the top-billed actor in the cast. He’s doing great, but let’s return him to the action, please.

Best example of Fabien Frankel‘s refusal to act: the look between Ser Crispy and Alicent in the courtyard. She did her best and he, once again, gave absolutely nothing in return. I don’t think the character is supposed to have this same blank look on this face in every single scene, but that’s what we get, right?

I can’t believe this show is making me worried for freaking Aegon haha; and that has to do with Tom Glynn-Carney‘s fantastic acting 😍 the way he said „I remember nothing“ with all that fear in his voice because Aegon does remember what his brother did - loved it. I hope Lord LittleFoot is actually useful for once and helps him. I had to laugh at the scene when he tried to get Aemond to make him Hand.

Just want to take a moment to appreciate this guy. A strong moral backbone, genuine love for his family and prepared to put up with prat head Cole just because his sister asked him to. And what a great actor.

I am loving this series so much. Thoroughly enjoyed last night's episode and now I want a pet dragon. I did try to convince the fat lab that she had dragon potential but she just farted and rolled over for belly rubs.

Re the bad acting....the early series of GoT had some of the worst acting I think I've ever seen, main characters too (Aiden Gillen and Peter Dinklage I'm looking at you!) but I ultimately found it endearing and the acting got marginally better.

I was expecting similar from HoD tbh. Although that Crispy bloke is particularly bad! Have seen him in candid interviews with the rest of the cast and he kinda embodies the whole "ick" thing, he's devoid of talent and personality. Good looking though 🤷😂

I’m rewatching GoT rn and Aiden Gillen is actually shockingly bad, it’s like a cartoon character

I always thought the cartoonish villain aspect was part of both the writing and the directives given to Aiden Gillen for Littlefinger. Like he was supposed to be a smarmy, villainous sort of character. Because part of the point is now could Cat and Ned have ever trusted him when he looked like he was about to twirl his moustache and cackle?!

that could be true but it’s really hard to watch sometimes 😂

Had no idea that was him in White House Farm! Wow!
He probably can't stand his cousin like the rest of us.
I read an interview with Freddie a few years ago where he was basically like „ah what can ya do, he’s family *shrug*“, but maybe his opinion has changed or maybe he didn’t want to start a public feud between him and his cousin.
