I've never seen him act well in anything since (I haven't seen everything he's in) but he gets a free pass because of my love for him in QAF

Yeah, I feel the same. I can never call him a bad actor because he was so brilliant in it (especially in comparison to his co-star!).

Loved this episode and that last scene, with Rhaenyra and the dragons flying behind her? Oof.

And looks like the next episode will be a good one for those calling for more action. I had forgotten it's only 8 episodes this season. Can't believe it's almost over and then two more years.

Exactly, I think adding yet another new character at this point would just overwhelm the audience when you have characters like Rhaena who need to be utilised more anyway.
