We have also booked for America, flying to LA then onto vegas, Santa Barbara and either San Diego or San Francisco.

Have Benidorm and Tenerife booked for later in 2025

All very different places!

Thailand, Vietnam or Cambodia 🇰🇭

Any of you been to Malaysia? How was your experience? I hear and read good things about it. It's supposed to have an underrated, and possibly even one of the best, food scenes in Asia.

I went to South Korea last year, absolutely loved it. Did you enjoy it? I thought it was surprisingly cheap too.

I’m going to Vietnam in 4 weeks - it’s looks good with lots of stuff to do.

We had our now cancelled holiday booked for April but originally we were going away in October. Either time is good with us

OK so for April, within the flight time and wanting 5 star hotels I'd say your only real option is Cyprus, Madeira or The Canaries. That's presuming you want heat, but I may be presuming wrong. But even in April weather in all of those places can be changeable. Egypt at 5 hours would be a great option but a little too long flight time.

October gives you more choice. To the above list you can add Rhodes which has some great 5 star All Inclusive hotels, as does Crete and both will still have good weather in October.

On my list next year I'm thinking of - Salzburg, Riga, Tallinn, Helsinki, Malta (later on in the year for winter sun).

Not going to be able to do them all unfortunately, so will have to prioritize by looking them up.

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Greece that's great for babies? Has baby equipment, an indoor soft play area, baby splash park area etc

Have you looked at the TUI Blue for families hotels? I think I read somewhere that you can pay extra for babyclub , hire equipment etc..

South Korea was incredible, like another beautiful planet and it cost us less than the Canaries at peak time.
I’d love to go back, got my eye on Hong Kong next.
Vietnam looks stunning 😍

Any recommendations for hotels in Milan or Lisbon? And/or things to do bars restaurants etc? Debating between the two for end of may/early june next year.

If you go to Lisbon have a look at day trips. Sintra is amazing. Go to the palace and the gardens. You can do them both in one day. Amazing.
Thanks! I was looking at that and also potentially spending a night in Cascais 😊 Sintra looks beautiful, was it easy to get to from Lisbon?

It's about Minutes by direct train. Really easy. However it's quite a walk/expensive taxi to the palace so your actually better off doing a tour. I booked mine through get your guide and it was so easy.

Lisbon is my favourite European city. I just love everything about it. Mind you I haven’t travelled extensively 😅
We got a bus from the train station to Sintra palace and then walked up to the palace. You can pay to be shuttled but it’s a lovely, but steep!, walk.
I felt in Lisbon it self you could not go wrong with food. I’ve eaten at fancy places, little hole-in-the-walls and popular restaurants and the food was great wherever we went.
I would recommend going to the Time Out Market at least once for a meal.
