FWIW, I do think Harold has been "royally" manipulated by Meg, she has played on all his issues, paranoia about the press, fear about death, lack of intelligence, resentment of his brother... I do think he believes in the "near catastrophic car chase" which the rest of the world realise was a set up by Meg.

I love Big Bang. Markles treatment of Harry reminds me of the episode when Lenards mother is visiting and after talking to Penny she says to him something along the lines of ‘if you want to sleep with that girl find out what cologne her father wears’.

Would a great granddad let vultures rip apart his beloved grandchildren’s mom, the way The SS attack the POW? In a year or two, I’d love PG to calmly ask Grandpa why he doesn’t stop Auntie Meghan from attacking his Mom. Hey, it could happen.

Was it here that I read that at the evening do of Pippa Matthews nee Middleton's wedding - which Hazno and Smegs attended - something happened which resulted in Mr / Mrs / Both Middleton taking Smegs to one side, and quietly but firmly saying something along the lines of, "This is my daughter's wedding and you are our guest. Either behave or you will be removed."

I definitely read it somewhere. If it did happen, and it sounds par for the course for Smegs, I wonder if she'd been spotted taking photographs which had been banned amongst guests during the event. The family knew she had form for this after Smegs' visit to KP so it's a fair bet that she'd think the rules didn't apply to her.

Or maybe some other egregious or attention-seeking .,,,


Knowing ILBW the way we do she was probably flashing her fanny at any billionaire in the vicinity. 🤷‍♀️

And in all of this, no one is really thinking of the longevity of the monarchy.

I think BIB was important at the time. Wasn’t the country still stinging from David abdicating before he even had his coronation? Could the Queen been trying to reassure, (even though her father was between Wallis’ husband, and herself) that she wouldn’t cut and run. She’d give it all to the Monarchy, the country and the people?

re the NY car chase, I think NYers aren’t impressed with a privileged titled visitor who tries throwing their weight around. The judges don’t work gir the King, and juries are made up of hardworking people trying to earn a living. There will be zero support for this entitled—prince prick. JmO

Did my first ever farmers market today, at my usual exhibition venue. It's just started so no other participants or visitors, but I got a lot of winter sun, peace, bird song in my ears and flowers and foliage everywhere, and the yummiest version of a traditional dish made by my friend's grandmother ❤️ We were there for I guess four hours, but I could feel most of the last week wash away.

Now I'm home, cold, resigning myself to going back to work, and missing the sun. So I really can't understand the Smarkles and their absolute need to get up to the shenanigans they have been. Had they bought a comfortable to ostentatious house and just lived quietly, paying staff to maintain a kitchen garden and sell the produce/make products and sell those, they could have lived really well. If they really needed jobs (they're lazy but they're narcs so they need to contribute to the world 🙄), they could have done the speech circuit without bashing his family and peace would have prevailed.

Shows how badly their brains are broken. They weren't under any pressure to earn a living, unlike us plebs (the security stuff is all crap and they anyway wouldn't need any if they'd just shut up). Privilege is absolutely wasted on them.

Yes TRF would have done a cover story worthy of Mossad, totally believable. The Sussexes would be in the US with their "children" however they appeared on Earth, and we wouldn't be on this thread analysing everything.
This isn't what the Sussexes wanted. They wanted to leave a trail of breadcrumbs pointing to deceit involving the Palace, and this is exactly what they did and have been doing for the last 5 years. This is their leverage, the fake children.

They announced they were leaving and were going to be financially independent.
Then Harry whinged he father had cut him off financially.

California is incredibly expensive.

Their house alone needs a lot of money to maintain. Then there's the private flights, the PR costs, Meghan's agency taking a chunk out of everything. A lot of actors who make millions end up with nothing because they don't practice good financial management.

I can see why KC3 is allegedly concerned about them running out of money. Haz has always expected (and until he left, basically got) the same sort of funding as William. Charles can't afford that now. There's no way he could meet the Duchy of Cornwall income to support Haz, even if he wanted to. And if they came back, property-wise the best they'd be offered is getting Froggy Cottage again.

So after a few episodes maybe 2 seasons max, it will flop. People will watch out of curiosity but won't stay on for long.

So after that, they will look for something else. Talk show host? People can't stand her and that actually requires her to WORK. Maybe Archie will become a child actor and Lilibet an Instagram influencer. Those are really their only options because the adults screwed up the Netflix deal and anyone who gives them another chance will face the Shareholders' wrath, in my opinion.

The last option will be scaling down and living a normal life. Meg will file for divorce at that moment.
 
Just watching The Royal Beat on ITV, they are going to discuss THAT Christmas card in a few minutes ….. it will be interesting to see if ‘photoshopping‘ is mentioned!

ETA ….. nothing, zilch - only mentioned no children’s faces shown and it’s been ‘a while since we’ve seen them’! Not even a mention of it being blurred compared to the other pics.

They could have remained popular and lived a very easy life except they thought they could live the champagne and private jet billionaire lifestyle without the humungous amount of money required to maintain that.
