Gregg Wallace

Yes there are lots of chefs who have appeared on GBM who are very talented and personable and who would do a great job, but they are actual working chefs that wouldn’t have time to take on such a huge commitment .
The restaurant biz is in dire straights (eateries of all calibre). So there should be no shortage of people.

If you google michelin starred restaurant closing there's a handful that have in last few months.

Yeah Gary Neville's restaurant in Leeds just went belly-up after losing almost a million quid, with 500k being owed to HMRC. It might not be the fault of the economy in this case though given that Gaz is a thick-as-tit ex-footballer (and pretend socialist). Plus his business partner, chef
Michael O' Hare (hair?) liked to serve-up one pea on a plate covered in gold-leaf for 75quid.

If Gregg is truly suggesting that his sexual harassment is down to autism and nothing else, then two points:
1) does that mean he is acknowledging he did sexually harass people?
2) if it’s down to autism and nothing to do with him being a sexual predator, and he is saying he simply had no control over what came out of his mouth then surely we’ll expect to hear from men who also experienced this?

As this all unfolds, I’m sure he will enter a facility to treat his very fragile mental health- because he can afford to. Same as he had the money to seek treatment for this compulsion earlier if he felt it was uncontrollable.

Long story short: he knew exactly what he was doing. He’s been told before about it, and the behaviour continued. As far as I can see there was no ‘OMG, I’m so sorry for how my behaviour must have made you feel; I clearly need to learn from this so I don’t put someone else in the same position’. bleeping creep. His wife looks vacant behind the eyes too.

Give it time, and it will happen... I'm betting as soon as he realizes the bullshit apologies aren't working, as that is what usually happens.

That's when we will get reports about him going to some rehab/MH place to try and 'sort himself out' which will be enough for the 'everyone deserves a second chance' and 'did he actually do anything that bad?' lot that appeared when the news came out about Schofield.

The rest of us with brains will know he is only doing it because he was told it would get him sympathy and he will come out after and do interviews peppered in bullshit like 'I learnt my lesson' and 'I am so sorry I used to act that way.' only for him to slip up pretty soon after and show he has learnt nothing.
Ant McPartlin is another.

Drunk driver hits a car carrying a child (with his own mother sat beside him), goes into rehab, now back on prime time television every evening.

Apparently Greggggg is going to blame being an utter arse on undiagnosed autism, undiagnosed as he is sensitive about his autistic non verbal son, thus dragging an innocent child into this tit show which has been carrying on for years before the kid was born.
Nah, he acts the way he does cos he wants to, cos he's never been stopped as he absolutely should have been. I give the marriage six months, tops. As he realises he's cornered, the game is up, I expect more Insta rants blaming whoever, it's all just temper cos he's not getting his own way, like his *apology* earlier.

At least he accepted he was drunk and didn’t claim it was due to an underlying condition. I still don’t like him though and I think Dec would have managed fine without him.

Was drunk? or was A drunk? Pretty obvious he was pissed as a newt and high on pills, he could barely stand-up let alone drive a car. What the hell was his mum thinking (she was in the car with him right?). He's lucky not to be in prison.

These days, management and PR people have a kind of motto, “anything can be excused”.
Once upon a time, you’d have to take responsibility for your mistakes - put your hands up and say “I fucked up, it wasn’t good enough, I apologise fully and will try to be a better person”. And this approach can work. Think of Hugh Grant and his soliciting, George Michael and his incident in the toilets, both many years ago.
But you don’t tend to hear that anymore. Instead you get the excuses. And then, probably, some promise to go to rehab or therapy which is purely for appearance most of the time so the celeb can say, “look, I went to therapy, I am reformed!”.
I think it’s obvious Gregg doesn’t think he’s in the wrong. His video response blaming “middle-class women of a certain age” proved that IMO. He honestly thought people would all be behind him, it was just those bloody women. 🙄

I refuse to believe there isn't at least one woman in broadcast media who acts innapropriately. I'm just curious to wait and see who is the first to get called out. I briefly worked in 'the biz' and I encountered quite a few lets just say 'sexually rapacious' ladies. Obviously I'm not trying to compare them with the huge amount of hole men around, but there are one or two women who are pretty bloody scary with foul mouths. :ROFLMAO:  :cautious:
