Gregg Wallace

I refuse to believe there isn't at least one woman in broadcast media who acts innapropriately. I'm just curious to wait and see who is the first to get called out. I briefly worked in 'the biz' and I encountered quite a few lets just say 'sexually rapacious' ladies. Obviously I'm not trying to compare them with the huge amount of hole men around, but there are one or two women who are pretty bloody scary with foul mouths. :ROFLMAO:  :cautious:
My money would be on Ulrika Jonnson

These women need to be called out to change their behaviour too. But it IS different.

Men rape, sexually assault, murder and take advantage of women at an incredible rate compared to the reverse.

I doubt most men would feel scared of a woman making sexual comments in the workplace.

True. Although these days, with some of the younger men I've worked around, they do tend to 'spiral' at the least little thing. One lad I worked with had to take a personal day because the next day it was a staff party and he 'had to get ready'. Just as an aside, I'll never forget the young lady who joint our staff, she introduced herself to me this way: "Hi, my name is <name redacted> and I'm a gay witch". I just replied: "Oh I am sorry dear" and walked away. Bad I know. I can't help myself. But these are the people I have deal with now, they do my head in.

Carol *triggers broom* Vorderman...

Andi Oliver says Gregg is not a "lone wolf". Maybe not but if there are others there haven't been so many complaints about them....yet.

It sounds as if Greggg won't be returning whatever the results of the investigation are.

Saw remaining hairy biker Si King interviewed about life after Dave Myers and he seems such a lovely man. I'm thinking he might be a good replacement, although I don't think there is a need for one.
Both Marcus and Monica have said that the two of them were usually in agreement about the best chefs but they always had to listen to Gregggg's opinion. At first they used to argue the point with him but they ended up with a resigned "whatever". 🤷‍♀️🤷

Did anyone see the programme the other night when Marcus ate all the dessert because it was so delicious and said: "I've done a Greggg".
Not only was Greggg lewd, a bore and full of his own importance, he was a greedy pig too! 🙄

On the secret celebrity gossip thread, someone said Si King isn’t squeaky clean either 😭

Why am I not surprised. 'Si' is a red flag for me. The fetish about bikes and leather, another one. The facial hair, the need to be on telly. It's all there.

As for Vorderman, I see in The Mirror she's stated that she was sacked from a TV Show for calling-out Gregggggggs behaviour. Yeah, ok. Honestly, Vorderman? That shrinking violet with her 'special friends'. Her attention-seeking is off the bleeping scale. I'd like to get hold of her old man and ask him why he walked-out on her and her mum when she was 9. It's been nothing but pain and suffering for the British public ever since.

My OH worked for her husband Paddy someone for a bit. Said he was a great chap but she used to swan in and none of the staff liked her. He had a successful business, she could smell the money. They thought he could do better.

I can remember Twitter being abaze with this at the time. It was quite something.

I love that Rod spelled his name with only one G, and I so hope it was deliberate.

I do wish there weren't so many well-known autistic people who are also cunts. Gives the rest of we autistics a bad name, and no wonder people think we use it to justify bad behaviour when you have scumbags like him out there. Maybe he's more severe than I am but couldn't be that severe to have the career he has. So as ableist as this might sound, he can't claim not to know, at the age he is, that some things are just plain wrong and inappropriate. I doubt if he even realises he's autistic and I think would be horrified at the suggestion that anything could be "wrong" with him.
I think if he read any comments or articles he would be trying to find fault with any for eg. They missed the extra G. FFS Morons! 2 x G.
Or
"As if I'd be interested in any of these ladies"
Greg (Yes I missed the extra G on purpose! 😄 To piss Greg off) strikes me as a narcissitic personality disorder 😐 bet he is exuding, denying, deflecting.
I do think his TV career is on hold for but I thknk he will return or work in the food industry in some capacity.

I think there's more to come for the BBC to get rid of him so quickly. No way have all those complaints been made just recently. More like they've finally had to take them seriously and recorded them correctly after something much bigger has happened that they can't ignore
I read there were court cases and maybe thry are private and maybe he doesn't want more coming out. If he is on TV and still working then it's public knowledge and then needs to be told. I think that's why he left as its likely advised.
There were probably a couple of NDAs and payoffs over the years and after a while you can't keep a lid on that behaviour if its you it will continue so thankfully the #MeToo movement now allows women to speak up.
He said it was all before his wife but its not is it?
I think he played it down a lot or writes it off as banter as perhaps.he thinks it is. Perhaps he felt entitled if he was getting way with it.so much at work no one stopping him, rather enabling him. Good God, imagine him in private with his mates then.

At work though he needs to set professional working boundaries.

This old article from 2012 describes his mother as lying to him about who his father was, divorcing his 'dad' when he was 14, and then when she got with his biological father when he was 15 she kicked him out and 'became middle class' and expected him to as well (whatever that means to him). That's his issue with middle class women of a certain age - he thinks of his mum as a tart and treats all women that way.

I would say, as his therapist if he'd spent many sessions with me and then thought bringing up CSA wasn't important, he never really fully and deeply engaged. Even his discussions with his therapist smack of inability to engage in any real sense.

These excuses sound like things he's saying to an angry wife, and how is he facing his love- in- mother- in- law, a woman of a certain age with nothing better to do than look after his son while he keeps himself satisfied sexually with her daughter? The whole set up of his life is dysfunctional, unless you're the benefiting narcissist/ ego centric man baby
