It’s the “allegation type” which is published 5 working days in advance - per the website: “The 'Allegation Type' will read, "To be confirmed" (TBC) until five working days before the hearing start date.” The allegation type has been published “FTPCSH” (if you look at the coding at the very top of the page, you can see what each line stands for eg name and so on). Below it confirms it is a “misconduct” hearing ie fitness to practise impaired by reason of misconduct rather than health or capability. FTPCSH confirms it is a substantive hearing - ie one where the evidence will be heard. Interestingly, the NMC don’t seem to publish the allegations in advance. Lucky nurses and midwives - the doctors and dentists get them splashed on their respective websites sometimes weeks in advance! It is probably possible to get a copy of the charges in advance by contacting the NMC though and they will be set out in the findings. Anything related to health etc would be redacted but that doesn’t seem to be relevant here
I do agree that Simon’s behaviour is….er…..suboptimal.
