I'd hate to be in Clemmie's shoes but she has no one to blame but herself....she saw £££ from her foray into social media and all her professional integrity fell by the wayside ...all my social media is locked down/private and I rarely post at all
I can see that If she is to retain her registration, she'll have to agree to keep off social media

A previous colleague of mine was reported by a woman and it’s been awful for her. I’m quite shocked it’s got as far as it has to be honest. I was the midwife that came on to shift at the time of this alleged incident and the woman told me a completely different story to what she reported to the NMC. What I knew from the woman matched the clinical incident too. I gave a statement to work about it all when they investigated but I’ve never been asked as a witness for the NMC. I am hoping she is cleared. Clemmie made a huge error. I think an element was that she was swept up in the influencer world but it’s no excuse for racism. Clemmie‘s downfall in it all is that there is no denying her words. There’s absolutely no excuses. I don’t justify anyone’s but I can imagine some would try. There was a case last month or earlier this month which had racism in and although her other behaviours were proven that allegation wasn’t.

What worries me about this is that the race problem within midwifery/health care as a whole is systemic, so I really hope they get external experts/objective surveyors of some sort in to help judge this? Like even ironically full circle that Rochelle Humes documentary (that CB was meant to present?) on the horrific discrepancy between black and white womens’ birth experiences Insta and Twitter was awash with midwives who just couldn’t get it and were more upset at being accused of racism than what these poor black mums go through?! Obvs not suggesting that’s every midwife at all and there’s no way of ascertaining what % it actually is, but it exists and I don’t have the highest hopes that it’ll be taken as seriously as it should? :/ sorry for the long ramble but yeah. Like realistically someone who believes black women weaponise their experiences shouldn’t be caring for any woman but espppp not Black women at one of the most vulnerable and high risk times in her life but she is and likely will continue to. So how much can the NMC/NHS get it?? :///

CB admitted that they were working for two different production companies.It was never her versus Rochelle. Rochelle was not picked just because she has lighter skin but that she has actual presenting experience and being in front of the camera since she was a child.

That does annoy me too. Just because you’ve not seen it at your ward or hospital does not take away someone else’s lived experience.

Not just a coat but a thick unbreathable polyester jumper under it, even just sat outside you’d start getting clammy in that get up so I’m wondering if he’s actually ill? :/ he looks the most unwell/elderly to date in this vid too.

Also surely their house must have a decent EPC rating as the previous owners did a lot of proper work on it? Why do these two prioritise utter tat like a garden kitchen over nice daily life improving things like a little portable oil rad to keep his office warm in the days? 🤯
 
Alcohol approach with teens is actually a very good topic and interesting one but combined with an AD for an actual alcohol company is another level of wtf I've seen from him. Alcohol related death are the leading cause of death in the UK. The alcohol lobby is one of the most evil and powerful one, making sure we all stay addicted trough our life from a very early age trough advertisement and products that are designed for this target (cool mixer in the cans with trendy designs).... they have zero interest in our teens health, what they want is for them to get hooked and stay that way. He's the worst.
