The problem is whether the NMC think she's brought the Nursing sector into disrepute, that's when things get really serious and they look at gross misconduct. She was all over the media with the stupid Alice gate so I can't see how it can be seen as anything other. As a Nurse, you have to be seen the be the most upstanding citizen all the time, same with any sector.
She could be struck off, she could have conditions put on her practice or she could just get a slap on the wrist with a caution order. I'm assuming this is the first hearing. She's definitely been practicing, so could be a suspension order in the interim.
What a ridiculous waste of all that training, to do something so stupid that brings it all crashing down.

BUT! If she's asked for parts to be omitted and the hearing agree, it will say, part of this hearing was held in private but I don't think they can private the outcome?
