I am actually a fan of the Austrian staging but I love the song.
So far I’ve only been truly wowed by Israel. All the other’s were either as expected (and thank god for it in the case of Norway for example) or much worse (Finland, Moldova, Albania etc.).
 
I bloody love Subwoolfer, their instagram is hilarious (them basically doing all the other countries dances) well worth a look if you're bored.

And I don't know if it's been mentioned before but there's a Fantasy Eurovision league thing (exactly like Fantasy Football but with more sequins) if anyone fancies a punt. I played it last year with a few friends just for extra giggles (I did not win): FantaEurovision

I can't take to Hold Me Closer either, I actually preferred Tusse last year over this. I usually don't enjoy Sweden's entries although they're always quite competent.

I like Italy - Brividi - a lot. I hope they retain the magic of the Sanremo performance on the Eurovision stage. Am a little worried it won't translate plus I dont know if Mahmood and Blanco are bothered, it's already been a big hit in Italy, Blanco isn't even going to all the rehearsals as he is touring.

I like Portugal. I could see it doing well although it won't win.

I think Ireland is going to be a NQ, the staging looks poor, it's too amateurish as a package. Only hope for qualifying is if her vocals are amazing and some of the other acts disappoint. Awful song anyway in my opinion.

It’s like they’ve written those lyrics just for a British audience. As if nobody else’s 12-points matter but ours

Well, in the same way they give us a Christmas tree every year, if I were in charge of our grand jury I’d be giving them the 12-points from the UK every year to say thank you, first for KEiiNO and now Subwoolfer. ❤️❤️❤️

If you don’t want to take yourself too seriously In Eurovision but still send absolute banger crowd pleasers, Norway are setting that bar high.

Controversial

I honestly think the lighting is too much 😬 but that’s an issue I seem to be having with a lot of the stages

acts just seem to become a bit drowned out on the stage and it’s hard to actually see them

Their country has a large audience that watched it for over 30 years without participating and the EBU made a deal with their broadcasted SBS subject to renewal in 2023. They are really loyal fans and I think Aussievision, their main blog/podcast, is great. I don’t see the issue personally.
 
It annoys me how the official Eurovision social authors are so obviously biased to any country beginning with ‘S’ (Spain, Serbia and Sweden) yet love having a little dig at the UK. This from this morning’s live blog of Sam’s second rehearsal.

They can piss right off!

I heard him on the radio and he seems like a nice chap. I got the feeling he knew that he wasn't going to win or get anywhere near) but was using it as an opportunity to get his name out for a UK audience and get a single out of it.
