So interested by her stories on Legoland. Had to get John to pretend to be red ninja so she didn't have to just... Say no herself ? I don't understand the level of faff surrounding that.
Essentially they spent money on treats and pjs that the red ninja left rather than just buy a small item or say no and teach them sometimes we don't get things from gift shops and to just enjoy the day out. So bloody weird. They'll expect this all the time.

She does this all the time, spends weeks buying treats on Vinted/in the sale just so she doesn’t have to tell them they’re not getting anything. It’s pathetic. If my husband were at work and I was asking him to constantly ring and pretend to be a ninja because I can’t control our kids he’d be seriously worried.

Those kids have 0 respect for her but it’s all her own doing. Also the comment on the story about the splash pad. “We used this as an opportunity to give them fresh dry clothes” what the duck are you on about love? Firstly no one cares, that’s what you do at a splash pad and secondly just say “they had to get changed”.

She's the female Adrian Mole, deffo thinks she's an undiscovered intellectual 😂😂😂

I feel like she’s just creating the issue she’s so scared of. It’s like my friend who was never allowed fizzy drinks so they then became an obsession. Let the kids have a £5/10 budget each (whatever she spent on car tat) and you can even suck some fun of out it by making it a budgeting/maths game. And yeah, you might have to say no to them, but what a great skill to learn as a parent and you're helping them understand the world a little bit more.

There's gentle parenting, then there's this bullshit. If they start behaving like spoilt brats, just tell the little shits NO! Count to 3, if they are still acting up they go straight back in the car, no pissing about. It's as simple as that.....or just let them choose something Emma as part of the experience and stop being a pathetic insipid, passive aggressive prat?

This is super not gentle parenting 🤣 Emma thinks she’s a gentle parent but she’s actually incredibly passive aggressive. Plus lying to your kids is really against those principles! Whereas maintaining boundaries and saying no is perfectly acceptable gentle parenting, it’s just about managing their feelings when they’re (understandably) disappointed by that no.

Well it doesn't get more passive aggressive than popping a little kid's balloon does it 😳 that was actually savage 🤣

She makes absolutely everything in her life into a dramatic episode. She will then take pleasure in taking a smug selfie, combined with that ridiculous flowery writing she does, where she tries to sound like something from Austin. What a bullshit person she is

I don’t understand why she just doesn’t give them a budget for them to spend and choose what they want from the gift shop? Or just say no? The time and effort she goes to to buy and CHOOSE the gifts herself anyway…just let them decide themselves. Her kids are only allowed to have fun if it’s deemed fun by her. We went to the zoo today, my kids asked for something from the gift shop and I said “no”. Because we have lots of things planned over the holidays I can’t just buy something every time we are out, and they understand that 🤷🏼‍♀️

This exactly!
She never says no so when she does, he throws a strop because she gives in. And the times he doesn't throw a strop, it's because she has something else to give them instead as bribery to not throw a strop!
They're never going to learn

What a passive aggressive nasty comment!!!! Typical Emma. Always drags the negativity out!
