Good god. Firstly, why does she speak to her children so formally ? “Albeit unsuccessfully”
Secondly, if Hattie really did say those things that is NOT normal. Where has she heard people being called useless if not at home ? I’d be really upset if that is what my daughter went around saying

I was thinking the same. I really don’t think my 7 year old would use that word especially in the right context! She’s never been told it or heard it in that context!
 
She 100% blows her lid at them over trivial things, and goes on a highly strung rant over nothing, if they dare to do something outside the tiny box they live in. This is why she keeps saying she's a better mum when they are in childcare, because she just can't cope with her own kids at all. I think she loses control completely, becomes hysterical then feels guilty and cries.

I can't believe I used to feel so bad for her when she used to post about the mc, and this is now the kind of mother she is! It's awful.

I think you’re bang on. She loses her tit, yells at them then cries. It must be a cycle that they’re used to now. If her kids really do say half the tit she says they do then they’ve learned it from a very unstable mother.
