I hadn't noticed that there was no Sephora sale video this time around. I guess the days of her showing off a $500 blow dryer and $250 perfume are over.
It seems clear that her jewelry and scarf business became her 'luxury fund,' and since Fisherman doesn't see the value in spending 20k a year on purses, why bother?

I have never seen someone blow up their life like this. Everything she's shown since they started dating indicates that they do what he wants: kayaking, fishing, yearly trips to Florida and skipping designer bags on that trip to Italy. There's no way going to church regularly was Elle's idea!
Will it be another midwestern Thanksgiving this year? I sure hope so! But I doubt we will be treated to an Aldi haul.

Its pretty discrete (she just says she's an ecommerce business owner) but before she updated it with her married name, she had a whole paragraph about being a jewelry designer. How embarassing!!!

Tragic, indeed. She traded country club events - for local church outings, 4-5 trips a year to Honolulu - for a single trip a year to Redneck Riviera, yacht cruises with the Dolls - for fishing, a secure cushy job with little responsibility and good benefits - for "eat what you kill" kind of a deal with zero benefits, lunchtime blowdries - for housework, Nordstrom and Sephora shopping - for grocery shopping, influencer events - for trad wives meetings... I would say it was a bad trade.

She's trying really hard to push that her husband is there , gotta let us know he hasn't bailed yet. Her baby really looks like her husband, with the big ears and everything.

I’ve never seen his ears, but her baby’s ears are REALLY prominent. I noticed it in the instagram pictures from a year ago, and they seem to just have gotten bigger and more protruding. Her baby also seems to have very little hair. None of these are negative traits at all, it just makes me wonder if Baby Elle used to also have prominent ears and very little hair. I remember seeing a picture of her when she was a baby (maybe in her first Seattle rental bathroom?) but I can’t find that vlog anymore to confirm. Just curious.

right I don't remember paying attention when she showed off her own baby photos, that's why i assumed it was her husband. His ex gf deleted all his photos off her instagram so i can't check but I feel like he had big ears? I just don't see a lot of elle in the baby either but then I'll be places with people and they'll tell me someones baby looks just like them and I never see it so I could just be wrong.

You’re right, that baby looks nothing like Elle. But Elle’s face has changed so much over the last 5 years. It’s so much puffier and doughier than it used to be. Her excuse might still be the pregnancy weight, which is fine, she looks healthy now just like she did before. But her face just looks so different compared to Chris-era Elle.

Plus Elle had a chin implant, nose job and God knows what else, so the baby can't look like her. (Not that her plastic surgeries paid off in terms of her current lifestyle, like she and Ginette had expected.)

They went in June (she mentioned it was a Father's day present for her husband) - and she waited until November to publish the vlog? Strange. Another strange thing is - most people in her place would've stopped by in Vancouver, if only for half-a-day or so, to meet with her friends, however briefly. But she seemed to have intentionally avoided Vancouver. Is it because she didn't get a reaction from the Dolls she had been hoping for when she went there last time with Gigi in tow?

Well, at least she got to carry her Chanel bag some place other than fishing.
 
LOL the flights were over $800 and the hotel was likely over $400 a night. Must've been another treat from Ginette because I can't see fisherman spending that much.

I also found it weird she went to her mom's old house (which is really far from their hotel) and filmed it from the outside. I hope the new owners called the cops on her 😂

Boring video in general though. No fancy dinners, no staying at the luxe Fairmont Empress, no shopping. Poor girl was trying to relive her old life on a budget... sad.
 
She lives! My running thoughts:
  • It was nice to see the beautiful backdrop of Victoria Island (the marinas! the mountains!) after almost two years of videos of Elle basically in her house and backyard. 😅
  • Gigi seems like a happy child! Despite what we think about Elle, she seems to really like being a mom.
  • She should have left out that she filmed this video months ago and is just now posting it. It just re-emphasizes that her channel has gone down on her priority list and her subscribers shouldn't be expecting consistent content.
  • Ah, the inevitable merch plug! I was wondering if she was going to bring up her jewelry. To be honest, I didn't think she was doing her business anymore.
  • The video description says "more videos coming soon..." We'll see!
You can tell she's very happy to be back in her hometown. I'm surprised Ginette didn't come along though. Happy Friday eve to you all! 🤗
 
If the trip was a gift, why did she film? It seems clear that he doesn't want to be part if her channel. Remember when Joe requested that she not film during the fishing trip she gifted him and it didn't ring any alarm bells in her mind that he didn't like vlogging?

They actually could have gotten to Victoria more economically on the clipper (a ferry between the two cities) making it more bargain !

Yes honestly I am scared to ever own a house because I don't want my address to be public record (and people knowing how much I paid). I don't know how people do it. I have a unique name too so it will clearly be me.

Maybe she is trying to make a Hallmark movie come to life: girl boss on plane with husband gets stranded in Victoria when rickety lane needs repairs and she realizes she has been missing out on love when she meets a charming local.
