The problem is Eleonore Lecocq doesn’t realize she has no style and is an awful person. In her mind, she is an “fashionable European princess whose been under appreciated by mean girls from high school and men.” 😆
I actually think her real problem is in her inability to admit she needs help with anything in her life, the woman needs therapy but for some reason refuses to get help.
I think her ego will be the complete destruction of her life more than it already is

I guess Elle’s new man likes mullets. 😂😏
Yeah, watching old Joe era videos her hair is overdone most of the time, but a lot of times its cute. It even strays near super cute in some shots when she just pulls it back to cook or go to the gym.

Her covid cut/salon triage attempt is such a disaster. Not flattering in the least and ages her so much. Maybe the stylist really thought she was 45.

I always knew that internal trauma could age people faster, but to see it in action when you look at 2018 Elle and 2020 Elle is really crazy. Combine that with bad skin from not giving it a rest from heavy makeup, lots of surgery, and Botox injections being hard to come by, and its a recipe for disaster.

I don't think Elle could have anticipated the toll that being miserable could take on her looks, but I have to feel she knew the makeup and surgery would come home to roost one day and always somewhat resented Joe for 'taking her pretty years' and not marrying her in exchange.

That's a big problem for most of us. It goes against the way we a lot of us were raised. As mean as we are, seeing what Elle did to herself certainly makes me more likely to seek out and accept the assistance of others . . . so I guess we owe Elle a big thank you for serving as a warning to the rest of us. Maybe that's the point of her channel after all.

Almost there! Time for today's chapter of Annotated Elle - Girlboss Breakup re-watching.

Thursday
This is it. The last day of disco. The final day of Elle at her absolute peak. The events of the closing of this day will impact pretty much every choice she makes for years to come. But, today, let's bask in the last hours of innocence.

Joe holds the camera for his final OOTD duties. Elle is more formal than usual. She says this is because upper management is visiting the office. She does look more formal, but I hope upper management likes sideboob, because they're certainly gonna get some.

Flash forward and Elle has left the office and hit the bank on her way to go to her friend's charity event at a department store. Maybe with upper management in town Elle hung out at the office all the way up to 5 today, but no matter she's on her way to her third shopping-themed event this week. A little scarf shill on the walk as she informs us that the bank visit was to transfer her payment for her fall and winter collections. She's really excited about the 'highly requested' colors which just happened to be options on the wholesaler's website.

Now we're at the charity event put on by her Vancouver Club friend. Somehow, the whole thing is supposed to help a children's hospital. Ladies who lunch pass between displays of clothes and carafes of champagne. Elle wants to find the shoe section, as that's what she's most excited about. This is really it. The end of the good old days. Elle remarks that the live models are throwing her for a curve, but she's no doubt delighted that someone else has been hired for the sole purpose of amusing her.

In the final shot, Elle films herself in a mirror trying on a pink and green dress. It doesn't look good on her, but as she notes, 'It's actually really sparkly. It has, like, gold thread running through it' And that's it. We're treated the what may be the biggest jump cut in youtube guru history...

Stay tuned for the final installment.

Shopping total for the day: $0
Running total for the Vlog: $1253
Thank you ❤ I've seen the full vlog a few times, but I love your recaps. And it puts the truth out there, instead of letting Eleonore Eleanor Elle Florence Lecocq get away with her lies.

Does anyone find it really strange that there are no reviews for Nouvelle Pearl or Apparel online? Apart from the 1-2 video reviews some years back from her Karens fans which aren’t the most reliable. The other reviews we’ve gotten are from this forum & they have been negative!
I think a lot of them bought her stuff in the first place because they want to be friends with the 'cool rich girl' they found online and not because they wanted quality jewelry. When she burns them, they either don't know enough to know they got burned or they just take it as a lesson learned and they don't buy from her again, but they're still afraid to get on the rich girl's bad side by dragging her in a review.

The customers who actually expected a nice piece of jewelry come here instead!

I don't find it strange, because there isn't an easy way to actually leave a review. Her website doesn't seem to have the option to leave one so you'd have to make a video or leave a review on your social media and make it public. Most people won't go through the trouble, hence no reviews anywhere.

I've always suspected the reason #girlboss avoids Etsy is because they allow reviews and she wouldn't hold a candle to the other sellers on there. Hence her pearls/cardigans/scarves only being promoted through her videos to her Karen followers.

I am on of the persons who bought her jewelry. I’ve posted here with my photos and review. She doesn’t have reviews on her website. I would 100% leave a review on her site if I could, other than starting my own blog or YouTube channel there isn’t really a way I could find to leave a public review of the crap she sells. I think a lot of people buy from her because they do want to be friends with the rich girl, I don’t know how else to explain multiple purchases. She fooled me once, but I’m definitely not dumb enough to buy from her again.

Eleonore F Lecocq doesn't sell on any platforms that allow people to leave a review or make a return. Probably because the quality of her shoddy wares is really, really poor. If she sold on Etsy or Amazon, people would slaughter her (what kind of "fine jewelry" has visible glue stuck to the sides of the "pearl?") in the reviews and she would be forced to allow returns per Amazon's policies and actually address her customers' complaints.

Yeah Poppy's earrings were definitely made during a funny moment of The Rescuers Down Under. Hard to laugh and manage a glue gun at the same time. And Poppy is awesome for posting the pics.

If Elle gave a crap she would have fixed it when it happened, sent another pair and sold those off as B stock at a discount, or paid attention to what she was doing when she was making things that she expected people to pay a significant markup for. Elle gives no craps.

But I get it. Elle lives in a universe where a sweater that cost Coach $30 to make is worth $400 of her mom's money because it's Coach. She also has the narcissism required to believe that things she touches are worth more because she's Elle Florence.

What in the flying fuck is Rick doing with his “impromptu” stir fry?!?!?! I’m gonna barf. Seriously.

Rick seems stunted to me kind of like how Elle is stunted. His word salad, pomposity, and extremely modest domestic life are so twenty six year old grad student.

Elle just hopes to skate by on her pay-to-play lifestyle.
Mindlessly buying shit = YouTube content.
Randomly moved to an expensive Airbnb in Seattle = Local business.
Doubling down on Seattle by arbitrarily signing a lease on an apartment there = Mommy cosigner.
Paying for office space (which she can't currently use due to WA State's Covid restrictions) = playing pretend lawyer.

As I'm writing this I recognize this has ALL been covered extensively and articulately here by others. I think this woman just continues to annoy me because she is so hollow she thinks she can buy a life and it will somehow be real and fulfilling. I think that has always been her outlook and MO.

That comment about Rick is very on point! Rick always gave off a grad student in his mid-late 20s vibe to me as well with the pretentiousness and preoccupation with looking “impressive,” and lack of having his shit together. It’s hard to believe that someone like him is in his 40s...scary, scary thought indeed.

Him and Eleanor Lecocq are two sides of the same coin and I can see how they got together.

Most grad students have more sense than him, because as a broke student myself once I remember going to IKEA and getting my entire apartment outfitted for like $600. I'm from a working class background but even I knew that you need to spend a little to make your home hospitable and comfortable.

IKEA sells an actual TV stand for $10 - Rick's use of old cardboard boxes was pure laziness and a total disregard for his living situation. He is more hobo than graduate student, no shade against hobos.

I am still living for the day that they get back together. It may be a long shot given that Elle appears to have found a new victim, but one can always hope.

That, and they’re both delusional idiots acting as though it’s their calling to condescend to and educate the mere plebes of the world.🙄

I think Elle talked herself into believing her addiction was not bigger than her and that she could quit burning through money because Rick offered her something tremendous; the lack of common sense that would prevent him from marrying her after only two months. He was her chance to get back the time she 'wasted' on Joe and SS.

As we know, Elle is not bigger than her addiction. Spending money controls every aspect of her life.

That would be hilarious, but sadly for us Elle's too obsessed with a guy's money to ever touch Rick again with a 10 foot pole I think. It's interesting how she still follows on instagram the two guys who kicked her to the curb, whereas Rick, weird and creepy as he was, was the only one who proposed to her and (in my opinion) probably didn't dump her, but she doesn't follow him anymore. A guy's money is the #1 thing for her...she's probably still keeping tabs on those two hoping that someday they'll come to their senses and realize how much they missed her.

It's very odd how materialistic Eleonore Lecocq is, given she seems to have grown up comfortably so it wasn't like she was ever lacking in that department. Ginette spent quite a bit on her education and general lifestyle, so I'm not sure why Elle is still so focused on acquiring material goods. People who are Elle's age and in her socioeconomic group are usually more attracted to travelling and new experiences rather than the nth eyeshadow palette from Sephora or 20th Nordstrom cashmere sweater.

It's not like without Joe or Chris' income, she'd be poverty stricken and unable to ever enter Nordstrom again. She would just eat out less, buy less designer candles, and not be able to afford Drybar. Hardly unacceptable given that's not a lifestyle she was accustomed to anyways.
