I feel you on that! My grandma died nearly three years ago now and she had some retirement savings left over, but it wasn't anything crazy, but my insane aunt is convinced my dad and the other three siblings all got 2 million dollars each and that she got shafted:ROFLMAO: (shes still throwing a fit over it). She was also under the delusion that all the grandkids except her kids got 100k each :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: (my brother and I got nothing so not sure where this idea came from) my grandma didn't even have anywhere near a million saved.

Seriously inheritance makes people insane. Even one of my BFFs from highschool has had family drama over her grandparents house that is old, tiny, and in a bad area and hasn't been updated in 60+ years (and her mom was one of like 8 or 9 kids?). I can't imagine the drama a house in an expensive city actually worth something would cause.
LMAO! Your aunt is insane. 🤣😂 I can relate somewhat; my family on my dad’s side is a little crazy, much of it due to my grandparents’ way of raising them. Even my mother doesn’t like them. The thing is, I don’t even think my dad or my uncles/aunts will get rich off that property because there’s too many of them (8 siblings plus their spouses). So why fight over it? Although some of the siblings are debating on holding on to it because the Bay Area is expensive and they want a “home base” for their kids in case they want it. Lol. I can’t speak for my cousins (most of them aren’t as selfish as my aunts and uncles, thank god), but I don’t expect a dime from it...🙄

This vlog wasn't the first one where she called viewers 'her friends'. Do you guys also find it weird? Does Smelle think all those Karens who first praised Rickets for being smart and handsome but then called him horrible after #divorcemas, are her actual friends? How can you be friends with someone that you issue content at but never take interest in them?

Or maybe that's what friendship is to her... Being worshipped with a minimal effort on her part.
Her perception of what friendship is is off because she never had good friends. 😂

the youtuber with a thousand names who loves to man hunt, scam her viewers, and spell her own name many different ways on her website to drive traffic away from tattle, gurugossiper, gossip bakery, and reddit. The life of a scammer is tough, and so is covering SEO so potential victims (unsuspecting men of Seattle) don't see her for the dubious character she is.

Shoutout to @Behindthescreens & @boredstrom for the new title. Teamwork makes the dream work. 👏👏👏

For new gossipers:
This woman quit her job and life in Vancouver, Canada over a year ago for a shot to marry in Florida and was quickly dumped within months by her ex-fiance Rick (just like how she was dumped by Chris, Joe, Special Someone before him in the past few years). She then moved to Seattle and tried to scam Seattle locals on the Daily Hive by pretending to be a local small business (even though she sources all her cheap materials abroad) while she lived in an Airbnb and dated exhaustively during a global pandemic, because she can't stand to be without a man. She was called out on Instagram by many people who tagged her latest victim, Dean, and he prompted dumped her as well so she's back online and man hunting. This same woman also misrepresented/lied about the truth many times in the past in everything from her job (she's NOT a practicing lawyer or in-house counsel as she claims to be) to her dress size (she buys things that clearly don't fit properly in stretchy materials, squeezes herself into them and claims to be smaller than she actually is) to plastic surgery ("bad root canal" apparently means a new chin). She also sells overpriced jewelry made of cheap materials (that looks identical to those you'd find on Aliexpress/Alibaba) that she strings together while watching Hallmark romance movies and doesn't offer returns when they break immediately and scarves she claims to design herself even though it's bulk ordered from a wholesaler in Nepal at a fraction of her selling price (the most "design" she does there is pick colors from a color chart while cheap labor abroad makes her stuff). Now she has laid her roots in a rental apartment in Seattle while she desperately looks for a guy to pay for her lifestyle like she did with her exes, and she calls herself a "young professional by day" despite the fact that she's over 30 and hasn't worked a real job for well over a year. Hunting for a rich husband has become her full-time gig while scamming her naïve viewers (she posts affiliate links for everything and doesn't mention brand names in video descriptions to force you to click her links!) is her part-time hobby.

Recently, she has been extremely rude to her subscribers and is deleting any comments and blocking fans that ask her questions that may question her narrative. Her house of lies is crumbling down and even her long time fans are starting to realize that everything she brags about doesn't add up, and we have screenshots of many of these deleted messages on previous threads. When you're a lying, scamming, fake almost 32 something with extremely thin skin that relies on mommy, scams subbies, or leeches off men, it's not a surprise that many people will find you morally questionable and call you out for your poor behavior.

Well, I've never heard of this person but ot seems like a fun ride!
Just taking a seat and joining you all for a bit.
Is this person for real? Is she actually that blatant?

Girlboss’s new ponte pants video didn’t even get as many views as the vlog she posted 7 years ago when she first started on YouTube. Classic washed-up-small-time-youtuber-used-to-be.

Welcome! I see you from the Meghan Markle thread. This lady also worships Smuggy Smeg so that probably tells you all you need to know. 🤣

Everything we’ve summed up there is the complete truth and we have many screenshots and receipts to back it up from earlier threads on here and other websites. She is hilariously awful and my profile photo is her face pre surgery (I mean “bad root canal”).

Right I never expected money from my grandparents and I don't expect anything from my parents bc it isn't my money it is theirs!

I also think elle hasn't had good friends to understand what a friend is. I'm not super good at being social but I have a few good friends and I wouldn't dream of treating them the way I assume Elle treats "friends".

Based on how she treats her mom and her bf's I wouldn't be surprised if she is always trying to get something out of her friends, her weird dependency with her mom feels very transactional. Elle hangs out with mom, mom buys her stuff. She probably sees friends the same way. I remeber a vlog where she and Joe were visiting one of the dolls and she legit ignored her friends story to complain that the cat liked Joe more than her and her friend clearly stopped bc she realized Elle wasn't listening. I can't imagine she's a good listener and she's clearly not a good gift giver, but seems to expect a lot in return.

Continuing my stroll down vlogmas lane, I was actually quite struck by how "chill" Elle is in this one. She's joking about how "hot" and 'sexy" she looks in a face mask resembling poo, and then makes some cracks about an awful glittery body wash from Lush that she recommends gifting to a worst enemy. She comes off refreshingly laid-back and, dare I say, fun? Like the kind of person I'd want to hang out with. Very sad to see how she COULD be if she chose to just let loose a little and laugh at herself sometimes.

It's very odd how materialistic Eleonore Lecocq is, given she seems to have grown up comfortably so it wasn't like she was ever lacking in that department. Ginette spent quite a bit on her education and general lifestyle, so I'm not sure why Elle is still so focused on acquiring material goods. People who are Elle's age and in her socioeconomic group are usually more attracted to travelling and new experiences rather than the nth eyeshadow palette from Sephora or 20th Nordstrom cashmere sweater.

It's not like without Joe or Chris' income, she'd be poverty stricken and unable to ever enter Nordstrom again. She would just eat out less, buy less designer candles, and not be able to afford Drybar. Hardly unacceptable given that's not a lifestyle she was accustomed to anyways.
She wants to be minded like a princess and never really spend her own money on practical things

She was hauling Walmart candles, Michael Kors, and Rebecca Minkoff before Chris.
Elle also used to shop a lot at Zara, and I found it relatable. Now she's just a shopping monster, consuming luxury leather goods and pointe pants to survive. I don't even know what her channel is anymore, like nothing is aspirational or relatable.

Also during the Chris-ersa vlogmas, she said Black Friday is the only time she'll buy luxury shoes because they're "overpriced and don't last forever!". Cut to this year's Black Friday where she'll probably buy 17 grey cashmere sweaters and a $900 candle or something ridiculous.

I can't be the only one that hates that she's shifted from decent looking/somewhat trendy Zara sort of hauls to heavily discounted "designer" (even then, most of it is Nordstrom's in-house brand which isn't really designer at all or secondhand designer bags in the styles that nobody wants) because to Eleanor Florence's insane mind, that somehow sounds better.

It definitely looks way worse and everything she buys looks the same. She just owns 50 iterations of it.

The thing about her shopping, and I know I’ve said this before, is that nothing she buys is actually anything special. It’s only expensive! It’d be one thing if she were a shopaholic who buys amazing things. One could say, okay, she buys too much stuff and is super materialistic, but at least it’s pretty stuff to look at and her videos are informative and you can use them for ideas of what to buy if you are in need of a particular type of item. This is never the case though! Instead, you end up watching someone spend thousands of dollars on absolute crap. I guess it partly feels good, I’ll admit. On my side, there is some pleasure in watching hauls of things I know I will never buy. It makes me realize how satisfied I am with everything I already own, and how little need I have to go shopping (especially nowadays— I’ve bought like one t-shirt since covid-19 started. I certainly don’t need much when I can hardly leave the house!).

I was looking at a few videos from that 2015 vlogmas and I was thinking something similar! She seemed considerably less annoying back then for some reason lol. She seemed less fake, less smug, no pearl shilling, seemed genuinely excited about vlogging, her shopping was more relatable, and overall just seems more like a regular bubbly 20-something vlogger. I wonder if the pearl shilling was a factor that made her more fake later, because she felt like she had to project a perfect "aspirational" image to sell the pearls.

from the new pants video, at 15:13
“This is another pair with the tag on. .. these are extra small. So that is part of it. A lot of the other pairs are Smalls. But these are so small that I couldn’t even pull them up without ripping them. I DON’T KNOW why that is (elevated tone) but that’s definitely not a good feeling, and for any woman. But they’re not good. Even if I exchange them for medium which is what I probably need, but I just don’t like them at all.. most of us have ankles that are not the size of our thighs. They just don’t fit me at all...”

All the pants she loves are so tight & inappropriate for a formal workplace?!!

OMG yes!

I was so irritated watching her. What happened to this woman? She had decent trousers in Van. These pants are NOT trousers and NOT work appropriate. Why is she so extra now?

And what's with the long baggy top with tight af pants? She looks like a blueberry on two toothpicks. And she talks like a middle aged woman from the 50s with the pronunciation of a 10 year old (wtf is Thangs?).

Ugh!

I’m so confused. All of these pants were just thick leggings. Also so doesn’t show any close up so from a distance they all looked the exact same! How can anyone watch these videos for fashion advice or to understand which ones they should buy?

That's an excellent point! Why not show the pants in close up or in motion? She is so lazy! Elle, no one wants to hear you yammer on about which pair of identical pants you prefer. Show, don’t tell.

So a few years ago on Elle's advice I bought 2 pairs of Ponte pants back in 2015-2016ish when she first did a review on them (I think that was when she took a business trip somewhere had took them with her). They're not bad but not worth the hype or at least not the hype to the extent Elle talks about it. For starters, they're kinda heavy, at least the trouser ones. And they're synthetic so not breathable at all so not the most comfortable. If you wash them, they start to pill, which was the case of the 2 pairs of mine. But they looked nice on you and don't wrinkle so I wear them when I'm too lazy to iron.

Thanks! That's way more informative than her 20 min long video.

Girl boss messed with her hair almost 30 times in a 14 min vlog 🤢
At 7:09, she talks about how she’s having dinner by herself because Chris had to work later than expected and couldn’t join her. The way she was giving her “advice” of having dinner for one once in a while was so painfully unconvincing. She even mentioned how she could’ve instead “had a salad at [her] desk and been productive” was such a lie. She never works past dinner. 😂 If anything, she probably felt a little smug that she was presenting as “confident” to her YouTube audience, as other diners are within earshot, while she gives herself a pat on the back doing mature things like eating for one at an upscale restaurant.

Woah, well done, she's a BIG GIRL now 😂 She should treat herself to a handbag for such a brave behaviour.
