I really hate this family focus weeks they seem to be doing

first it was Slater week with all the Theo drama, then it was the Panesars with Nugget and the arrival of Priya and Avani, next week looks like it’s going to be the Knights/Carters…

I just don’t think it’s working and what the hell has happened to Theo, it’s been weeks with no mention?

I guess Theo could still be in hospital, although unlikely as everyone recovers from life threatening injuries within a few weeks in Walford 😉

There’s only one hospital room which Jay is currently occupying.

Exactly. Jay will be out of hospital in a week and other than a small groan of pain when he gets out of the cab, and a bit of bruising makeup which they won’t be arsed to do after a couple of episodes, he’ll be fine.
 
looks like the actress who plays Gina has at last a role she can get her teeth into, she was just flouncing around like a newborn foal before at least she gets to do something different, and "supermum" Cindy seems to have been able to get her talons into her at last.

Definitely. The current structure is very tiresome to follow, especially with having so many ‘big’ storylines going on. Alfie’s cancer was supposed to be a big thing, but we haven’t seen him for weeks 🥴.

I just hope The Six storyline doesn’t fall flat

Oh my god Alfie, I'd totally forgotten about him! I'm sure it never used to be like this, but it just feels like there's way too many big storylines happening at once and none of them are getting wrapped up -

Kat and Phils wedding/Alfie's cancer/Phil's cheating - forgotten about
The Slater's and Theo - forgotten about
Lily having a baby - forgotten about other than the odd glimpse of Stacey pushing a pram
Sharon/Keanu and the will they wont they tie the knot - comes then goes
Sonia and Reiss IVF/Reiss's wife - forgotten about
Rocky and Kathy's debt - comes then goes but mainly forgotten about
Suki and Eve - forgotten about
Chelsea/Ravi/Denise finding the footage - forgotten about

You get the idea...

The Alfie story hasn't worked at all. Surely he couldn't just take off abroad after an operation and have no follow-up appointments.
I think Shane didn't want to shave his head so they allowed him to disappear for a while. I can't say that I miss him 😄

It's already starting to with me. Getting bored of it, and as others said, having it a family per week is leaving things disjointed.


It's become a garbled mess and they need to sort out the spoiler leaking, both Dean Wicks arriving and Jay departing were leaked, both would have been more impactful as surprises.

Jay leaving was Jamie Borthwick’s fault though for posting what he did
 
I don't think Jay is leaving. It hasn't been confirmed has it?

When Billy was talking yesterday about how he got Jay out of the children's home that made me think that he must have been his legal guardian for a while. Social Services don't allow random people to take kids from homes without any documentation etc.
