Really? I've seen multiple interviews with people saying their cancer treatment / operations have been postponed.

So why are more not asking questions?

why are journalists asking the same inane questions day after day at this press conference and something like this isn’t even touched on?

It's not. I know of someone who died because she couldn't get her treatment. She had terminal cancer but was due to get some chemo to let what little life she has left comfortable, but she didn't get it.

I can only talk for the information I have see from my own country but on a number of occasions in the last 3 weeks the public have been urged to use A&E more because it’s so quiet, they’ve been told NOT to be scared to seek help for other illnesses, because A&E has been unusually quiet they’re urging people to use it, to contact GP’s and not to shy away from getting treatment,
as far as I’m aware non essential and elective surgery has been put on hold until next month but not critical care treatment?

Is this not correct?

as I’ve said before I’m fine with people proving me wrong if I’m wrong,
but social media, especially in the last few weeks has no problem turning fiction into fact to strengthen their argument.

It was on my regional news that people are having chemotherapy pills posted to their homes, whereas a lady with terminal cancer was told her treatment to prolong her life was postponed. Sorry i can't link anything but do your own research, although i wouldnt bet against the media covering it up. So many people will die as a result of this lockdown but are told not to moan as it is selfish.

I hear ya, I desperately want to see my daughter too. I haven't seen her for about 7 weeks

Hi all, there is more than 1 Tom Moore petition on the real petition site. I have just ended up signing about 5 so that at least one will get through 😀. You may remember that last week during the “clap” I said my neighbours had a trumpet and a drum... well tonight they had bells. They had a big massive bell, like a Peggy Mitchell chucking out time bell, and also a load of little bells on a sort of tambourine. 😳

I honestly think no one can judge anyone at the minute as everyone is in the same boat. I feel for everyone for the scared people who are afraid to go out for fear or catching or spreading, the workaholics who normally sleep with their phone and have now got to settle for Twitter updates, the lonely stay at home mums and elderly missing their weekly coffee or family catch ups. I could go on. This virus more than killing people it's stopping people surviving ( humans need human interaction to survive, it's a well known fact some need it more than others,but to some extent we all need it.

I had my chemo pills delivered to my house. I was supposed to be having intravenous chemotherapy at the hospital and this was the first I knew of the change of treatment plan
