This is completely over dramatic but ‪Is there a reason they can’t give the politicians a remote so that they can move the slides on themselves instead of having to say ‘next slide please’. ‬People do it every bloody day in presentations just give them a clicker!!
Oh god I say this every day.it really boils my piss 😤😤

I have a feeling it will be a beautiful update.
The best.
People tell me your the best stand in for Lord Trumpington.
Some even say better than the real thing.
You will finish the speech in record time. People will be amazed at the speed of your update. People said it couldn't be done but you did it !

The thing I find so baffling about this virus is how totally differently it affects different people - some people have no symptoms at all from it and others die. I can't think of another virus that produces such wildly differing effects in people, every other virus I can think of seems to follow a similar trajectory in each patient.

Yes me too. We were worried about my mum catching it as she was in hospital over Christmas with sepsis. Fingers crossed she's shown no symptoms so far, my Dad, with no underlying health conditions, has been on a ventilator on ICU since last Wednesday. So scary and unpredictable

Oh and you have to say you had a phone call meeting with someone, always a man, always a really good call with the most amazing man, usually to bestow upon him your words of wisdom which you then tell us.

A list, of randomness, usually fills 10 mins-the man thanked people in the category of health the other night and included Macdonalds, Wendy's and a company that owns KFC and Taco Bell! 😂

Anyone good with graphics?
We need some Trump bingo cards!

Don't forget “he’s a very good friend of mine.”

The way he says Chi-nah cracks me up.

Every week when I clap I get so emotional thinking of all the NHS out there risking their lives. I just also find it so so emotional that we are clapping every week, locked down in our homes and life is nothing like we’ve ever experienced before. I think it hits me every Thursday that this is really happening and it makes me cry. I feel the whole of the UK are in this otgether and we all come together at 8pm.

I hope this changes the world forever and everyone is kinder and more grateful for life 💖
Me too. It’s so hard knowing my sis is out there on the front line and she hasn’t even got her family for comfort as she has had to move into a hotel for their safety. She’s all on her own and id give anything to be able to hug her 😞

I don't think lockdown as worked as well as they have expected. The numbers are still very high considering we are now on week four of pretty much not seeing anyone or going anywhere that has lots of people( discounting shops) I think the government was expecting the numbers to go down. I know it takes a while to come out but all the of the last big social gatherings was way before lockdown happened so surely all those people should have had it recovered or sadly passed from it. I think they should at a maximum put another three weeks on lockdown then begin to lift it for the people that are the least vulnerable, putting procedures in place such as separate shopping times etc. People are already flouting the rules ( which I disagree with) because they are not used to being kept away from doing what they have always done. I also want to stress what I mean by lifting the lockdown as perhaps send the least vulnerable back to work, children back to school and shopping. Pubs, concerts and sporting and holidays events to be kept off till at least September / early winter.
It'll be five weeks that my family and I have been in the house for on Monday. The kids are starting to struggle and the cracks are appearing with the hubby, he has mental health issues. We aren't even allowed to go for a drive for an hour as it's classed as unnecessary. I know we have to stay in for the sake of the NHS but it's so blimming hard.

I am honestly at the point where I am so sick of all this tit and want the lockdown to be over. How the hell are we meant to go on like this when they said a vaccine can be 18-24 months until developed? It is not realistic. As bad as it sounds at some they'll have to bite the bullet and reopen stuff. The lockdown is so detrimental to people's lives and mental health. More people will be damaged by that than who die from covid in the end. I find myself swinging bad and forth on opinions and today is a bad day.
It's either filter it through slowly so they can treat those that get it and stand a chance of them recovering or let it sweep through at a rate where the NHS collapses and people die that may well have survived because they can't get treated because there are no beds or enough vents or enough NHS staff to care for you.
